AYO FAYOSE Wants To Be Governor Of Ekiti State Again....

What do you think?

Are you from Ekiti state?
Will you vote him in again?
What did he achieve in the state when he was governor?
Na question i ask...if he is running again, its either he forgot something in
government house or he is going back determined to work.

    2. I have read through this thread and am elated that many have made constructive analysis about the duo, Fayemi and Fayose. Please note that I am from Ekiti, but I am neither against, or for these duo. I analyse without sentiments or bias.

Like many have rightly stated, Fayose is very much loved by the grassroot citizens in Ekiti. They've always loved him anyway, only that the power that was, during his governance removed their forces of support for him, and then they put their joint forces against Fayose. For reasons best known to obj, which is an open secret anyway. But they have since settled the strife at different times. However, if u took a trip to the heart of Ado Ekiti, just speak to the normal market woman or road side mechanics, ask them to share with u their views about the governance in Ekiti from when fayose was there to the present reign of Fayemi. You'll be shocked to hear that most of them love fayose because he was a rugged and accessible governor, unlike Fayemi or even Segun oni.

The records are there and the facts cannot be removed. Fayose, even after he left governance, still maintained a rapport with the grass root pple in Ekiti. He gave them his direct mobile number to update him on whatever they wanted and he fulfilled whatever he could. Call it campaign strategy but this he started to do from the day Segun oni was in power...to when Fayemi mounted power.

Segun oni in the other hand was a very straight forward. brash, pragmatic, and a reasonable individual. He was more of an administrator than a politician. just like Fashola of Lagos state.
Being an engineer and a disciplinarian he applied his prudent approach/measures towards his governance. Which didn't augur well with his entire staff. He was disliked because he never touched govt monies. Govt workers were angry that Oni didn't approve the flow of miscellaneous funds for their personal pockets. When he left office he left more than enough money in the treasury and everyone was angry that he was overly sanctimonious with the state affairs, especially monies, they said as if it was his father's monies. This was the only aspect that was not liked about Segun oni, otherwise he was a Superb intelligent gentleman who tried to do it right but was ejected for being upright.
What exactly do people want? When u steal they stone you, when you don't steal, they call u mumu.

If given a free hand today, with adequate resources and man power, Fayose will prevail over Fayemi a million times over. Those of us who have been on ground to observe all of them can tell u this authoritatively. The only thing that can cause delay is Fayose's flow of funds. Obviously Fayemi has more money power to fight, as opposed to his merit as an incumbent gov of Ekiti...which would fail him if it would be the ONLY criteria to be considered.
I know that APC will give it a rough fight. It will be a very critical election in Ekiti state.. I must admit.

Even President Jonathan has expressed his full support for Fayose after he investigated him in Ekiti properly. Well time will tell. Fayose is ready to die this election o. He's not playing at all.

    4. @ekiti. Leave story abeg. We know Fayose's gist. Dont bring your campaign here. Investigations or not, he does not have good record.

    5. An unbalanced assessment, why didn't you do analysis on Fayemi. The problem with this Fayose is that he carries too many baggage in terms of liabilities. He was a 419er and a credit card scammer in London before he came home to build spotless hotel and drycleaning outfit. This man is the ekiti version of Ibori, and a total anti thesis to what they stand for.He might be down to earth and engaging, but leadership entails more than that. In normal climes,he would have been made accountable for what he looted when he was governor. There are whispers that he is a wife beater and a serial philnaderer.

  2. I'm not from Ekiti but he did tried when he was governor. He stepped on some toes, OBJ, some Kings. He's better than the present Governor. Ekiti can boast of dual road today coz of Fayose. More so, the guy is sooo sexyyyyy. I heard he likes threesome.

  7. But clearly I would have had to believe all the media missiles against this man if Fayemi didn't panic so much!i chanced on Fayemi's campaign launch on TV and he dint have any other subject than Fayose!i think Fayose is Fayemi's worst nightmare and nemesis. The way APC went about their campaign of caloumny against Fayose shows he is their major Horror.to me based in Enugu and watching the whole thing,i predict the Fayose guy will floor the present governor Fayemi.

  8. Stella Do your research in a group of 10, 7 is talking in favour of Fayose, 2 in fayemi and 1 for MOB. Fayose was removed by a group called E11, that group is the problem of Ekiti State. In short Fayose has the majority now.

  9. I'm not from Ekiti but I was in UNAD when he was d governor. No one in Ekiti (common man) can say Fayose didn't try. He was loved by all. His ONLY offense is not allowing d rich and powerful to control him and his past too. Apart from that Fayose really worked in Ekiti. They may not allow him back tho cos he is seen as disrespectful. He used to give water free to people of Okeyinmi and environs. Salary paid regularly. Took care of UNAD. No increment in school fee. I repeat his only offense is lack of diplomacy. He was rude to Kings and some perceived powerful men.

    1. You are very right...I am from Ekiti and this man will win ahead of any other person in the next election...I have to travel home to vote for fayose...all the way!

    2. @ Omo UNAD, I concur!
I served in Ekiti State Governor's office in 2006, he was a good man to his people, he only lacked diplomacy and that was what led to his down fall.

Truth is,he stepped on toes, not that the toes didn't deserve stepping on but lacked tact.

His greatest undoing was sleeping with his deputy, that Olujimi woman, who later became Obj's baby and cos she was jealous cos Fayose relegated he most times to be with Uni babes, she told Obj all d bad stuff Fayose said about him, infact, she recorded him and played it to Obj!

He found out late about the "rat" in his administration and went to beg her but she denied,he even knelt down sef, she no gree!

Then Obj sent the army into Ekiti, meanwhile,Fayose had run d night before!

Olujimi now wan bcome governor, lmao
Ekiti pple said if they see her, they will teach her a lesson!

Long story short,an administrator was appointed, then came Segun Oni.

      End of story
      Phewww

  17. Stella, don't get in the middle of this. r u trying to promote fayemi on this platform? How much did they pay you? I think u rather should get one of those seats of yours and get a space at d back! when u start using your platform for campaign, people like me will stop visiting here. I know what u r thinking... is that a threat? No Stella! It is not! Don't think of me as just one blog visitor, think of me as a visitor that loves to refresh every hour. stay outta ekiti politics, stay outta trouble! ...awaiting your reply cos I know u like to 'talk back' (sharp mouthed you). v been a reader here as far as you can think of.

While Stella may not respond to ur empty threats, I think I will do so.
Stella is not campaigning for either Fayemi or Fayose. I say this on good authority. And by the way, what if she's doing so? Who the hell are u to decide for an individual, a grown adult at that, what or whom not to put on her blog? Are u the one feeding her or anyone here? Get the hell out of here.
You were right when u said we wouldn't notice your absence here. Neither is ur presence of any importance anyway... so heck? She should stay out of Ekiti politics because u have the monopoly of their affairs or what? I am Ekiti, and I don't see myself telling non Ekiti people to stay out of our biz. So keep quiet if u do not have a basis for ur ambiguous restraints towards those who wish to register their views about the pre election activities in Ekiti. Crap talk

I went there recently, the whole place has changed for good. Take your empty threats out of here. You will be back here soon to tell us not to talk about the abducted girls because it happened in Borno State. Miscreant.

  22. I stay in Lagos,im a card carrying member of APC.Fayose is no doubt unpopular with the elites and those who based their facts on media reports!truth be told, the guy is sparingly popular in Ekiti and i've said it time and again,it will take a miracle for Fayemi to win!cos MOB is there to decimate our votes!I don't like Fayose one bit but he is most likely the next governor if the votes count!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Fayose knows his onions in spite of negative publicity,im not in any party but something struck me in one of his comments when he was asked about his social media followership like twiter etc,he said Ekiti voters r neither on FB or twitter! They get to dre farms b4 u start twitting! Now dats a grassroot man!and those r the voters!except in the unlikely event of a military coup, dat guy has won over the Ekiti electorate!Fayemi is busy making noise on twitter!he is a learner!
