Sometimes it is confusing listening to the word of man when we need to hear from God.....Remember how you guys debated that Pastor Chris was right and wrong here?
Pastor Chris says it is up to her to keep the baby if she was raped,it also means it is okay to abort if she chooses.
TB Joshua delivers it hot..he says Abortion is wrong!..he doesnt sit on the fence or tells us we would not understand it if we have not been raped...he says it is wrong.
So,is it Chris or Joshua?

Pregnant as a result of rape? I think the decision on what to do with the pregnancy will depend on the girl's age, culture, and religious belief. An African girl's decision will be different from a Caucasian girl's decision based on their background.

Less than 5 percent of abortions are for the reasons of rape, incest, or the mother's health at risk. Even in the more difficult 5 percent of instances, abortion should never be the first option. DeleteRape and all its related vices are traumatic to the victims, and the best they need is adequate solace sort in the bosom of close friends and family members; most importantly, GOD. If the victim gets pregnant it's even more traumatic. But we must understand something VERY important: The baby is COMPLETELY INNOCENT of this heinous crime against the rape-victim. The most common excuse given is that the victim doesn't intend to birth the seed of a monster. But take a look at these monsters and their respective seeds:

If their mothers had decided otherwise on their lives because their fathers were evil, we wouldn't be privileged in knowing the heroics of these men of GOD.

ReplyDeleteI give it to TB Joshua here as well because even Joel Osteen says that sometimes God stirs things up for us, he puts us in difficult situations sometimes because he wants us to stay in faith as our testimony is in front of us or because his plans for our future is bigger and brighter than we can ever imagine and when he starts to download his favor in our lives, it will gush out like a flood that no one can stop. For instance the story of David in the bible is a perfect example. David was once Saul's wing man but Saul became jealous of david and wanted hid head. David who was once in a comfortable position had to run for his life, he had to live in the wilderness for years and hide from one town to the other for fear of his life. To cut long story short despite all that suffering he was crowned the King of all of Israel.. Abortion is a sin and being Raped is not something anybody prays to experience but it happens and I think it takes the grace of God to stay strong and also strong in faith after the trauma to keep the pregnancy. There are other options on what to do such as Adoption if the victim doesn't want any form of contact with the past but I still believe that Abortion shouldnt be an option because if you like it or not,it is a sin.

Having said that, I think the rape victim is in a best position to decide. If she has the fear of God, if she's brought up on the right path, either as a Muslim or Christian, she'll remember that life is sacred & under no circumstances must it be taken coz none of us can create life as it were. While rape is despicable & tragic for any lady, who has ever fallen victim, committing abortion - killing an innocent baby - will be even more despicable & tragic. The case on ground is a very sensitive one and a lot has to weighed. You think it is only a single girl that gets raped? Well, if you are a married mother of lets say 3 kids and you and your husband has put a stop to child bearing and then you get raped, you will go ahead and keep it right? As your hubby, I don't care if I am a Reverened, you keep that fetus, you get out of my house. To even contend with some men that you want to keep the fetus, they will be forced to believed you weren't raped, but that you planned the whole stuff. And like one commenter asked, what if you were raped by a family member? Say an uncle, would you still keep the fetus? Madam Stella and fellow closed minded folks, you don't know the circumstances surrounding anybody's rape case so do yourself the favor of keeping an open mind. As far as I am concerned, there is no double sin anywhere. Truly, the decision lies in the hands of the parties involved. They should pray about it before taking the required decisions
