NNPC-RECRUITMENT FRAUD‏ ALERT

Nigeria we hail thee!!

Even the tragic immigration recruitment exercise is now being used as a format to scam people oh,please shine your eyes because these scammers are not joking!

''Hi Stella,Please I got a call from a Mr Bernard Umeh saying that he is an NNPC staff. I really do not know how he got my name and phone no. He asked if I knew anyone with an Accounting ,Business Admin, Public Admin degree.

He said he had 3 slots allocated to him and that if I knew anyone in need of a Job and that I should pass his number across to them, so he can speak with them before accepting to assist them. He stated that since he is a staff introducing them that they will get a call for interview and they will be accepted. He said no apitutde test will be conducted because of the immigration recruitment.

He sent me an account number which he said the person should pay an appreciation fee. Of course I know it is a Scam but further investigation from my friends who work in Fidelity shows that money is actually being paid in by people and being withdrawn immediately . Please help inform desperate job seekers not to fall prey''.

Account details given :
 Ukpai Aya Inyang
 Fidelity Bank

    3. Pls understand the difference between being gullible and being desperate. its alright for u typing awag behind a screen with air conditioning blowing u. MAJORITY of Nigerians are struggling daily. So pls while some people are truly gullible, lets not forget that desperation to better one's lot is a driving factor. Thanks. 2. BLOG ANALYSER: This has always been there modus operandi. If any one falls prey u are on your own (oyo). I don't blame the ones that have been duped, its the Nigerian government that should be blamed. Year in year out schools graduate thousands of graduate who have no skills to survive on. Every one wants a government job. May God help Nigeria.

  5. People will definitely fall prey because Nigerians are so gullible, all they want is cheap means of getting at the top not matter it cost. Even the gvt itself is not left out in this kind of fraud, man must survive.

  6. Nigerians can do anything humanly possible to get a job.. This just buttresses the failures of the government at all levels. No one cares about you in Nigeria. Why won't scammers have a filled day?

  7. That was how one idiot called me one day and said he's calling from Corporate Affairs Commission. That they've received my application but that I have to tell him how much I'm willing to pay for d job. I told him I'll pay 5k,lol. On hearing that, he hissed and ended the call. Another one sent me a text that he was my fellow corps member and that his uncle in Agip has gotten him a job through internal recruitment. He said I should call him if I'm interested. I already know it's a scam cos I got a lot of these messages when I passed out last year. He gave his name as Okhawere Godwin and his number is 08107557878.

  11. This is was how someone strange stupid girl called me yesterday and mde reference to the NIS tragedy, she said her company created employment slots to curb such future occurrences. She said she waas calling from Dukwe coy in PHC clled One Nation, gave their website as www.dukwe.com. Invited me to PHC for interview next week but when I became suspicious was when I asked who referred me, she mentioned one phony name and quickly backed it up wit my serving for NYSC t PHC which is true but the name does not exist in my memory. Then I went digging, I goggled them and am still yet to finish reading stories of their victims. I finally realised they got my phone number on the Rivers state NYSC magazine that was created during our service year with corpers mobile numbers and names. Let's all be careful of these wolves taking advantage of unemployed graduates. I blame our Govt for all this.

  15. Nigerians! Dats d new new! Itz now very easy to get detailed info abt people, some use ur dstv bills, some get ur details from inappropriately disposed atm slips and all wat nots! NNPC wud neva call u, they have ways of reachn people sendn mails or messages directly to u. No one wud call u...itz a pity that in our desperation we become too blind to see d obvious. One day I had to deny my name...an unknown man called me claiming he wanted to interview me for a job I applied for, he even mentioned my name and details, but wen I asked d idiot how he got my numba he said I gave him at d busstop. Bloody lie! I just told d guy dat it was unfortunate he had d wrong number....and he said no, "is dis not jane?" And I went "no, dis is sarah!" And d fool hung up and neva called back. Once u agree to the name, they'll keep pestering u. And recently, there have been cases where people r called for interviews and they neva return home. Kidnappers now use Interviews as an easy means of getting hold of people for ritual purposes. Let's all be careful, if d place u r called to dosent look credible, den u shudnt go. God'll keep us safe from all dangers and all dose scammers'll be sorry one day!

  18. how dare u blame government for people who have been duped? have you heard of any country in the world where you have no unemployed people? does unemployment rob you of using your common sense? any one who is not a fool should know that you should not have to pay money to be employed.....even if u pay a fee for form or anything you have to be sure of your source and where you are paying too..most Nigerians are lazy and nobody wants to start from the bottom or use their skills/talent to do anything...a lot of students graduate from technical colleges or polytechnics yet they all are looking for office jobs...all are looking to make millions before you start a business....no, start small where you are and one day you will grow...even those who start businesses once they manage to employ one or 2 persons they have become CEO/MD the next profit is to buy jeep and a house in banana island meanwhile no proper foundation in place for the business to outlive them..we must not all work in govt agencies or want to work in lucrative offices like most of those who went for the NIS recruitment.....some of us started with earning very small salaries and have grown over the years.....we cannot continue to keep blaming govt for everything and sorry to disappoint you govt cannot employ everybody so people should wake up from their slumber, dust their lazy arses and become more productive.....

  22. In my final year in Uniport, I woke up to a text congratulating me for being picked as a beneficiary of the nnpc/total-fina-elf scholarship. I never applied for such but since I was a first class student, I thought maybe it was based on selection or so. So I call the number as instructed and the fowl says to call so and so number to get my reference number. I call and the second idiot says "this is the GM of total/fina/elf, bla bla bla". So I ask "why are you as the GM handling this? Don't you have a corporate communications dept?". He says he's busy and if I want the reference no, I should send 3 MTN recharge cards of N1,500 each.
About thirty minutes later, he calls to ask why I haven't sent the cards and time is running out. I say I've been in a meeting. Mumu asks which meeting, I say meeting with my boss, I work in Agip. Next thing the "GM" says: "you're a bubbling girl oh". LWKMD. Oya now deduct N4,500 from these millions you people want to dash me then give me the balance now, oga GM say no be due process be that. So I formulated 3 fake MTN card numbers and sent. Mumu must have loaded them and got his line blocked. He calls with another number: "useless girl! Ashawo! God punish you" etc. Omo! I curse am die. And I laugh am die. Ewu meeeeee! ROTFL
