The man who gained world fame after going public with a medical condition that made his scrotum swell to 45 kilograms has died, doctors said.Wesley Warren Jr passed away on Friday after being taken to a Las Vegas hospital for treatment after he endured problems related to his diabetes, according to his friend JoeyHurtado.
“He was in the hospital for five-and-a-half weeks,” Hurtado told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
“He had infections that I think were brought on by his diabetes and then he had those heart attacks.”
Warren gained fame after a public appeal to raise $1 million need for surgery on his enlarged scrotum, which he said had turned him into “a freak”.
The debilitating affliction had caused him to become a recluse as he couldn’t walk far and would suffer mockery from members of the public.
He eventually had the mass removed by a doctor for free and had reportedly been looking forward to the future.
May he RIP.
