Attention Governor Oshiomole - Victimisation In Edo State Between EDOSACA And EDRRA

Edo State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS (EDOSACA) connived with Edo State Rapid Response Agency (EDRRA) to sack four of their staff without any justifiable reason. Reliable sources has it that, the four staff who were employed by the Rapid Response Agency into the Edo State Youth Employment Scheme in 2013 fell out of favour with the Project Manager on the 6th of January, 2014 over a-no-issue that is well known to any clear conscience.

This is what the victimised are saying and asking.....

''After series of back and forth investigation, it became clear to EDDRA that the said Staff had no issues to answer, hence their posting to other ministries and parastatals. Little did we know that at that point, Rapid Response Agency had woefully failed in playing out the script written by the Project Manager of Edo SACA, whose ultimate goal was an outright termination. 


When the main Character had returned from a trip, the clearly masterminded plot to terminate our employment by the State Government was re-awakened. Reliable sources from EDDRA had repeatedly re-echoed that even though we had no real issues, the Project Manager insisted that the four of us were employed by the State Government for EDOSACA and not for the government. 


It is not clear to us whether the Comrade Governor of Edo State who graciously directed our appointment has also directed our hurried termination without due process.
We are once again, seeing in this age and time that those who are priviledged to be in positions of authority prefer to sacrifice equity, justice and good governance on the alter of selfish interest to inflict pains on poor Nigerians. 


This is our cry. We have been victimized by those who feel that living is a prerogative of the rich and not the anawigs; the influential and not the commoner; the powerful and well connected in government and not the clearly unknown individuals and beginners. We may not have anybody up there, but we trust that the Comrade Governor and the good people of Edo State and Nigeria at large will most definitely listen to our pleas. It is difficult for us not to cry after we had been seriously battered.



As we speak, EDOSACA in collaboration with EDDRA have terminated our appointments and expunged our names from the Government Payroll without any resistance. As we speak, none of us has either been officially informed of this ungodly act either in writing or verbally. As we speak, our respective ministries and parastatals have also not been informed. The four of us are still carrying out our duties at our places of assignment. 



We have no doubts about the personalities behind this secretly executed agenda to cause us pain, sorrow, hardship and increase the unemployment portal and cast doubts on the good work of the Comrade Governor who in his wisdom instituted the YES project.



We have made several attempts to reach the Comrade Governor but to no avail. We are hereby appealing to all well meaning Nigerians, Human Rights Activists, Civil Society Groups , the good people of Edo State and his Excellency the Comrade Governor, Adams Aliu Oshiomole, who has always stood by the oppressed and voiceless to kindly come to our aid as a matter of urgency to end our suffering.

The four unduly terminated staff are Jacob,Funke,Deborah and Ebun.
