  15. Mr President is a very good man,i really loved the way he tackled all questions and even defended Governor Sanusi as the gentle man which he recall is, let me share mine
1)Sanusi sack-President Jonathan says he has oversight functions over CBN and it lies the power to approve certain decision of the governor.President Gej also said even if its one kobo, one dollar that has disappeared from NNPC,we must follow due process and the rule of law, he. also said that the CBN governor. Cannot preside over discussion on the FRC audit report hence it's suspension,my point is this the moment Sanusi started missing numbers from 4b ,12b and 20b,the President says he did not know which to believe, but he must look into it,my point is Sanusi should have resigned, his position is too sensitive for such blunder, but the President still maintained the Governor Sanusi is the head in CBN.
Security-President GEj said we are working with the cameroonain government, and we will get over it,he spoke and explained his strategy with BH,he spoke about the deployment of both Armies,Air force, police and SSS,he also answered the Governor of Born state who insulated the army that the Nigerian army is not good enough, telling him that if the armies is incapable of handling BH,then let him tell so he can withdraw them for one month and see if he can stay,he expressed displeasure on the approach of terrorist in attacking defenseless civilians villages and we are all know the president is working because they were formally in the whole of Abuja, kano,Niger, and other States but the army has chased them.to Borno hills.
Conference preparations:he gave dates for the appointment of the chairman of the head and the dates, but the truth is we are moving forward as a nation, the Journalist did not talk about the 20abducted girls in Born which is a failure on their part but the president tackled security questions well.

  16. iam dedicating this song to mr president.

    Dear Mr. President,
Come take a walk with me.
Let's pretend we're just two people and
    You're not better than me.
I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly.

What do you feel when you see all the homeless on the street?
Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep?
What do you feel when you look in the mirror?
    Are you proud?

How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye
    And tell me why?

    Dear Mr. President,
    Were you a lonely boy?
    Are you a lonely boy?
    Are you a lonely boy?
    How can you say
    No child is left behind?
We're not dumb and we're not blind.
They're all sitting in your cells
While you pave the road to hell.

What kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away?
And what kind of father might hate his own daughter if she were gay?
I can only imagine what the first lady has to say
You've come a long way from whiskey and cocaine.

How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye?

Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Minimum wage with a baby on the way
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Building a bed out of a cardboard box
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
    Hard work
    Hard work
You don't know nothing 'bout hard work
    Hard work
    Hard work
    Oh

How do you sleep at night?
How do you walk with your head held high?
    Dear Mr. President,
You'd never take a walk with me.
    Would you?

  19. Dear Stella thank you for this post,I sincerely hope that the commentary toll rises on this particular subject because I find it very disturbing that a lot of young Nigerians on many blogs do not participate or indicate interests in issues that are VERY important especially where it involves their future rather you find them enmasse commenting on irrelevant issues, some even find it so hard to READ. Please maybe you can use your platform to address our youths because a lot of them are more interested in accumulating wealth rather than enriching their Lifes, the key is in Knowledge.Thank you and God bless.

  21. I applaud the journalists 4 d kinda questions they asked Mr president last night. We thought they'd b biased but they weren't. Jes dt we weren't interested in the "beating around d bush approach" dt mr president gave 2 all of the questions he was asked. He wasn't clear on any point, not articulate, too much gbagaun. Infact I was highly disappointed wid d way Jonathan went abt it. Even my 12yrs old cousin in highschool would do better!

  22. GEJ didn't make sense at all, he said Sanusi was still the CBN governor and he could return return pending the report of the investigation, and yet he named a successor, silly presido, when asked if he would contest 2015 Presidential election, he said "When the time comes I will let you know if I am contesting or not...He didn't speak with any conviction. On security matters in Borno state, he condemned what the governor of the state said that BH had better weapons than the military and GEJ said he can pull out the military out of Borno for 1month nd the state would collapse. Please is GEJ meant to make sure statements? Hmmm..I just pity those that would still vote for him come 2015.

  23. I watched it o, but honestly did not listen to much of what was said, I was more distracted by the decorum/composure , or should I say, the LACK of decorum/composure of Lady G of WAZOBIA radio station. Did anyone else notice how totally lousy and un-elegant she looked! She just balance for the chair like 'Dorathy' swinging her 'koi-koi' shoe and looking like she was in her bedroom! haba! Small decorum would hav been proper na Lady G! I luv and listen to ur programme anytime im driving and ive often wondered what you look like, I must say I was grossly disappointed. Please next time you get that kind of opportunity to appear before the president, take a little more time with your appearance, invest in gud and quality hair-do, Na tv you com, no be wazibia radio wey you fit even wear bathroom slippers and nobody go know, also learn how to sit properly like a lady! E remain small thing make you show the president ur pant! Who know whether na the thing confuse uncle Jona wey he just dey gbagaun like dat... loll

  24. When he made that statement of pulling out the military for one month and the state collapsing, a statement made with reference to Shettima's complaint, I felt a deeply sad.

SDK, I mean...this is a state the federal government has literally lost count of the lives lost to these animals. This is a state the youths risk their lives to protect their society and loved ones because the surveillance team of the JTF isn't efficient. This is a state where gustavo tactics are applied as a desperate means of fighting boko haram, thereby endangering innocent civilians in most rural areas. Then a commander in chief, instead of sympathizing with the governor and the people of Borno State for this 5 year old trauma, is making a statement reserved for the likes of Basket Mouth and I-go-die. This is terrible! And people will still vote for this man?

    1. Oh Memphis pls STFU, May your hate for GEJ not consume you.. Nothing this man does you like... Is the governor himself supposed to utter such statement ? Weather you like it or not, GEJ is staying till 2019 you can pack your belongings and leave this country immediately... Rubbish.

      Delete
    2. Memphis, he didn't say ℓ̊τ̅ out of disdain...if you were †Φ be In the army α̲̅πϑ fighting terrorism, you will truly understand...those people need encouragement not what Gov. Shettima was saying...In fact, as the CEO of the state, he ought not †Φ have made such demoralising statement....if the Army had not been working, would he have been secured enough †Φ stay In the Government house?....at times, our hatred for the govt often give us partial views into what is truly happening....May God help us In all our endeavours....

      Delete
    3. For those who don't know, Boko Haram has infilterated almost evry sector in d govt., including the military. The failure of the JTF to wipe dem out is due to d fact that there r informants among the senior officers who leak the military's strategies to these terrorists.

Shettimah's comments were very immature considering the fact that dat Boko Haram began as a grp formed by an ex- gov'nor of Borno state. We Nigerians keep heaping blames on d president for fuck ups that state gov'nors cook up. Boko haram began long before he came in so pls let's cut d man some slack. State govnors shud start being accountable for some shit dat goes down in their states, n not feed fat on revenue allocations. #my 2 Kobo#

  25. With due respect, Dr. Goodluck is just a simple home-spun man, that never was fit for Aso Rock, he might do well in The Republic of Seychelles
    .
Imagine the way he answered all the questions asked him like one Chairman of 'agboros' in a Nigeria motor park (no disrespect).
He got to where he is today by sheer luck and if he dares enter that Rock the second time, he just MIGHT end up licking his tail.

  26. I must say that the media is so the best GEJ chat that I have seen.No question from the seasoned journalists took him unawares.
