During the 2011 presidential campaign,Jonathan sought the votes of ordinary Nigerians promising them good governance and development. The moment he was sworn in as president the people no longer mattered to him and he preferred to hobnob with the corrupt elite. His first major act was to increase the hardship of the people by increasing the price of fuel and he even ordered the army against these same people that voted for him. Meanwhile he looks on not bothered while the corrupt political elite and their croonies continue to loot the country's resources at will. Now he wants re-election it is certain that it is those corrupt elite, the traditional rulers and the pastors that he has been visiting who will vote for him. The ordinary people whose lives never saw any improvement under Jonathan's non-government these past five years will rather vote for a better person that will alleviate their sufferings unless they have been destined to come and inherit suffering in this world.
