DeleteWaffy Stella e biakwa ozo! Anyway, I remember those days when Shina's music was played in most kids birthday parties but those days are gone, ur putting it up here may resuscitate it and give it life again.
ReplyDelete*yinmu# ^.^
DeleteAwwww poor Shina peters. You see, it's a shame that the man had to go, and is still going tru a tough time after his hit songs. But one thing u can't take away from him is that these shinamania was universal and unrivaled in the nigerian context of musical entertainment back then.
Delete....As a yoruba man, he caught the attention of every tribe with this song. Moreso as his songs would always have broken English lyrics.
.....Above all he is very good with his stage performance and his dancing steps, just like KSA back in the days. However, after SP became somewhat inconsequential, his patriots for the most part became the easterners. They just love the man. I could mime his songs from start to finish back then in school. Lol I don't know if there's still hope for his musical career again sha...Cos the youth have taken over with the speed of light. maybe that is why he now performs collaborations with the new bees.

ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine day! It's marriage week & Valentines' Day! Here is a reminder of what marriage is.
THE SCHOOL CALLED MARRIAGE
Marriage is the only school where u get the
Certificate before you start. It's also a school where you will never graduate.
It's a school without a break or a free period.
It's a school where no one is allowed to drop out.
It's a school you will have to attend every day of your life.
It's a school where there is no sick leave or holidays.
It's a school founded by God:
1.On the foundation of love.
2.The walls are made out of trust.
3.The door made out of acceptance.
4.The windows made out of understanding
5.The furniture made out of blessings
6.The roof made out of faith.
Be reminded that you are just a student not the principal.
God is the only Principal.
Even in times of storms, don't be unwise and run
outside.
Keep in mind that, this school is the safest place to be.
Never go to sleep before completing your assignments for the day.
Never forget the C-word...Communicate.
Communicate to your classmate and to the Principal
If you find out something in your classmate (spouse) that you do not appreciate.
Remember your classmate is also just a student not a graduate, God is not finished with him/her yet. So take it as a challenge and work on it together.
Do not forget to study the Holy Book (the main
textbook of this school).
Start each day with a sacred assembly and end it the same way. Sometimes you will feel like not attending classes, yet you have to.
When tempted to quit find courage and continue.
Some tests and exams may be tough but remember the Principal knows how much you can bear and yet
it's a school better than any other.
It's one of the best schools on earth; joy, peace and happiness accompany each lesson of the day.
Different subjects are offered in this school, yet
love is the major subject.
After all the years of theorizing about it, now you have a chance to practice it.
To be loved is a good thing, but to love is the
greatest privilege of them all.
Marriage is a place of love, so love your spouse or partner. More grace!......:-)
Stella I need prayers right now.I'm on the sick bed, all hope seems to 've gone:, don't know where to start from after staying 3yrs in a country what I get is refusal of stay.imagine so the best I did was trying to commit sucide and thats how I find my self in the hospital.God has failed me, upon the fasting and praying..
ReplyDeleteHelen Noooo! God does not have a track record of failure and he won't start now! Please hang in there, I believe his plans for you are for good and to give you an expected end! Please be strong and keep your head up!
DeleteDear Helen, God Almighty has not failed u. He NEVER fails. Luk @ it as a redirection not rejection (or denial.) God ALWAYS knows what's right 4 us, even wen we tink we do. Wish a speedy recovery, and pls don't attempt suicide again. Its never the solution 2 problems.
