Jonathan Versus Lamido....What Really Is Going On?
The can of worms has finally spilled over and Sanusi Lamido has been slaughtered.......eaten by the snakes waiting to eat the worms.
President Jonathan waited for him to travel out of the country and cleverly relieved him of his job...well thought out plan....dont you think?
There is something going on and Sanusi's sack today will defintely open a bigger can of worms.....the microfilarae type and i wonder who else will go down with the rest.
Did you say that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned? #yinmu
Wait till you see a scorned man.
Sanusi's tenure terminates in a few months......shouldnt he just take a walk?.
He says he will contest his sack,do you think it is a smart move?
If the President says No,which judge will say Yes?
Come on,lets discuss this abeg.

Politics,am not interested...if Jona like, make he close down aso villa....I don't fucking care....
ReplyDeleteAnty Stella i have a few disturbing questions for our lawyers here: 1)Does President GEJ have the power to unilaterally suspend a serving governor?2)where in.the BOT Act do the CBN Governor needs the Senate assent to sack Bank MDS?
DeleteThis Sanusi sack just tells us the level of corruption in government and the financial sectors in Nigeria; the only reason why Sanusi is been humiliated to this level is because he has turned his back on the government.if you do your finding you will know that Sanusi was worst than NNPC and the Stella Oduah put together, was it not the same Sanusi that thwarted the constitution when he sacked four back MDS and took 64b without consulting the senate? The only thing now that is crystal clear is that Sanusi is being sacked for exposing corruption which seem to be a political move, why was he silent all these while?when the government carried him along did he talk?
My only anger is that President GEJ does not understand the financial and market implications of sacking a CBN governor because it has immediately dropped the naira as we speak;am sure so many Nigerian bankers are so happy he left the system;i love SLS but he's also practically corrupt and his sack was well served.
Its Nigeria, where speaking the truth can get you killed, where your honesty is ridiculed, and a country where graft rules.
Please Anty Stella serve him one of those your ugly seats abeg,Jonathan did the needful period.
BLOG ANALYSER: kudos to u Stella for ur investigative and informative reporting. I know their wahala started shortly after u reported that Sanusi was giving Elrufia contract because they will soon become inlaws. Elrufia uses the money acquired through contract to work for APC. A party fighting Nigeria's president. Any way, I wish them well.
DeleteAm with u on this one,Linda! Ha mara ole ha di rie utara_ha sirikwa otu ahu rachaa ofe. *so not interested**
DeleteWe're watching ...
Delete@Kaycee. I am happy that u noted that sanusi turned his back against the govt, hence the latest development. Need anyone ask further questions about Gej's 'unconstitutional' removal of the CBN gov?? He was playing to the corruption gallery before now, as they all did the same frauds abinitio. So I do not have any iota of pity for him, whether it is legal or not. This is not ignorance speaking, but the fact that sanusi tried to paint himself holier than thou in recent time. What effrontery? He who seeks equity must come with clean hands. I insist that Sanusi should blow his horn if he must, but not without stating his involvement with BH. Shikena
DeleteThe President has no such powers I dont know the wicked person who adviced him to make such a drunk decision.
DeleteSanusi challenging it is not for him to be recalled but to set a precedence so that the CBN can maintain its autonomy and not be subject to Presidential whimps and caprices.
Stella, the President is just a man not greater than the country's constitution, time and time again Judges have overturned presidential directives they did so during Obasanjo Ve Atiku.
We need to educate ourselves more and stop being spectators in our own lives.
You have a meduim, help women and youths who come here to know more and demand more. Its a democracy, know all we need to know as this is the only system where citizens can actually participate and absolute power does not lie with anyone including Mr. President.
If I were him I would just blame this on Abati as this is unconstitutional and can get him impeached
@Kaycee God bless you for such a wonderful comment. This administration thinks and breaths corruption, Sanusi inclusive. The missing money made public is just as a result of a relationship gone bad. How about the ones. We don't know about?
DeleteWhoever tries to expose corrruption becomes the haunted. Same thing happened in Oduah's case, the goverment went after the whistle blower first. And GEJ had the guts to give EFCC a pass mark? When they only go after petty yahoo boys and the main theives are being celebreted?
There was really a country! God bless Prof Chinua.
Until the crime fighting forces stop being answerable to the president, Nigeria cannot stop corruption. For heavens sake, the IG of police takes orders from the president, and this is based on the law.....the Police Act, the Nigerian Constitution. other crime fighting agencies were at one point or the other, established by the various rulers we've had in the past years, and their puppets were kept as heads to run these forces and agencies. they need to exist as unique and independent forces, and their leaders need to be elected. not appointed. With this, they'll be able to arrest any corrupt politician without fear of losing their jobs or punishment from them. One step at a time.......let's start with the closest problem. If we don't act like the French commoners during the French Revolution, we won't ever see change! I'm tired of listening to Nigerians lament about the numerous problems in this country, especially corruption, yet nobody wants to step forward and start the change. Rebel! Instead we criticize those who try, call them stupid and many other names. Wake Up Nigerians!!! Wake up!!
DeleteOur govt is only united in corruption.,so anyone dat will wake up to do otherwise will be booted out!and dats exactly whatt is happening Stella.
DeleteKaycee has said it all dou cos SLS was never a saint too so he should just go lick his wounds, its d end of another bad era...unto d next!
Na wah! Trying 2 understand this country is like hitting ur head on the wall.
ReplyDeleteI tell you! What baffles me most is that most young people are just plain lost to all that is going on!
DeleteI love what is going on.
ReplyDeleteBig elephants are fighting bigger ones.
Paving way for that small elephant
That will surprise d political history
Of our great MOTHERLAND.
IRENE B,for PRESIDENT.
Malaria Alert. Keep dreaming.
DeleteLol anon
DeleteSanusi is a Boko Haramist.
ReplyDeleteHe introduced Islamic banking in a verge to divert money to his boko bros.
He's a condemned soul.
I'm sending him and his cohorts to eternal doom.
I love Goody man
Are u dis dumb? Where is ur prooF?I v never insulted anyone on this blog, ur a fool for thinking that way. Will naija ever move forward with all this Tribalism n religion wahala ppl like u cause. Anuofia
DeletePower tussle tinz, yimu at Oga Jona o.Stellicious Stella he should have allowed our "Oga at the top" to Complete his tenure,it isn't fear really, its like calling him out to do his worst.naija with daily drama.
ReplyDeleteSKD, Sanusi will contest the sack because he needs Nigerians to understand the president needs a quota of votez from the senate sitting either in an ordinary or extraordinary session, without which the sack is unconstitutional and void ab-initio.
ReplyDeleteYour president is a classroom reacher and he should have better evolved in academics and becoming an acclaimed professor, than to meddle in the administration and state governance with guys who have been groomed all tru for same purpose.
Omo stella our Judges are not daft they will look into the matter and Award him Damages. Its the Federal Government that should have taught of how much Sanusi will get in court and knw it will be enough to build a tangible project
ReplyDeleteSTELLA WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DISCUSS ,NIGERIA ,YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DISCUSS NIGERIA ,ME WILL RATHER BE A SPECTATOR AND WATCH .IF JONA LIKE MAKE EH LOCK DOWN ABUJA ,NA DEM SABI
ReplyDeleteI wonder where we are going in this country
ReplyDeleteSo happy about this news, All this mallams with cow brain tire me. Mtcheeew.
ReplyDeleteFinally Boko Haram Sponsor has lost his job..
ReplyDeleteSanusi will open the can of worms. Jeez! Am waiting for the bombs to explode. I trust Sanusi, the aboki no dey carry last.
ReplyDeleteNo contesting! Heard on the radio that they plan to arrest him once he lands in Naija. Some say they already have and plan to seize his passport. The guy sends shivers down the spine of the government.
ReplyDeleteHe scares them, they can't stand him! He speaks his mind and doesn't care whose ox is gored.
His job portfolio as a CBN gov requires that he should be careful what he says but really NO-ONE can shut Sanusi up.
He already granted an interview, that's proof enough.
No use contesting Sanusi....hang with folks that celebrate you.
These people will go to any length ANY lengths to nail you.
Don't fight dirty....just take a bow.
Could this be a case of ¶what goesss around ¶?
#embezzlementalert #2015election GBAM!
ReplyDeleteA man who has been against corruption from the beginning of his tenure to this unfortunate moment, raising alarm on the corruption in the system, has been disgraced, while people like Newsom Wike, Okonjo Iweala, Maduekue, Labaran Maku, etc, are warming their exulted seats, waiting for their pockets to be fatter by month end, when they've shown gross incompetence and lack of transparency in recent months. Hmmmmm...
ReplyDeleteBe wise in 2015, or this will get out of hand and we'll be heading for oblivion. BE WISE.
Abeg Memphis, which corruption has he been against since his tenure? If you have followed Sanusi since he became CBN gov, you would have noticed his inconsistencies and sly modus operandi. Am just too tired to state a few of these right now, maybe later when I get the energy. But contrary to what u say Sanusi is far from being a legitimate whistle blower. Let's just say the tide of favor turned against him, and it left him with no other choice than to amplify the grand corruption with NNPC.
DeleteHello Memphis, going through most of your contributions on this platform,I've deemed you to be of sound mind devoid of bias. Please go through this link and if you won't agree with biblical injuction that it is with the same measure that you used in serving that it will be dished back to you. http://www.newsofthepeople-ng.com/ex-intercontinental-bank-md-arrested-for-loans-linked-to-bukola-saraki/
DeleteI love me my SDKers. When it cums to "politics" we dey. When it cums to "yash opening" we dey. When it cums to cussing" na we carry am 4 head. U guys rock!!!
DeleteYes it's politics, cbn governor hve been playin to d tune of APC, indirectly giving them all the funds they need 4 2015 against Jona, talk abt d contract given to elrufia, the way he was sack is not right no doubt, he should hve just been suspended wth no name send to the Senate 4 replace, that would hve mak sense more. Let's face the truth no man would let someone he appointed to a position be an instrument to ruin him. If the cbn gov was a very transparent, discipline person then I will hve shouted wat the hell, but the truth is dt he is not. He is a political and a very dangerous one at dt, so let them start the fight why we just watch n see
ReplyDeleteseriously jonathan is d worst of all president with no clear sense of direction
ReplyDelete.
virtually all sectors in d country get worse by d day, and anyone dat question his authority get sacked.
dont know why nigerians cant see him as a d toothless dog dat he is
we all let sentiments, cloud our sense of reason

DeleteU want to understand Nigeria? Then first of all attempt a critical analysis on the History of God. Jonathan has lost it
ReplyDeleteSanusi should take several seats please. When it comes to Jonathan every Tom, Dick and Harry has a say. Case of Pot calling kettle Black! How can a professional like SLS play partisan politics. How come he doesn't know how much exactly got missing under his watch? Why did he release contents of the letter to Obj to spite a sitting president! How many of you will tolerate that even in your household? They say " he who comes to equity must come with clean hands" What about the contract of billions of naira that was awarded to his in-law El Rufai? Why is the press not saying anything about it? Is it right because he is anti GEJ. Jonathan suspended SLS and did not sack him, he has every right to do that even the National Assembly doesn't have a say here! He should account for the billions of Naira he awarded to Northern Universities except uniben. My problem with Nigerians is the double standards.......xoxo

Deletemadam Stellina abeg bring us gist jare no matter how we go talk reach dem no go hear....
ReplyDeleteThey didn't even know that d Sarah Alade they picked and quoted as saying she wants to put things right in CBN wasn't even around. She was with SLS in Niger republic,to show that this was a sudden coup.Well Stella SLS has to contest it,cos dis is jungle justice.why take sudden action without due process?what are they trying to cover up?
ReplyDeleteSanusi is a criminal that points accusing finger at another. His sins are too many and I expected by now, he should be cooling off in cell. This was the same man that wanted to divide Nigeria with his islamic banking policy, the same man that awarded a 6 billion contract to his would be inlaw el rufai. The same man that made nigerians spend their hard earn money when going to bank to deposit their own hard erned money. The same man that is fucking another man's wife mrs yaro, and even employed her in cbn above pple that were more qualified for the position without following due process. The same man that destroyed and shut down healthy banks and rendered thousands unemployed with his obnoxious policies. Sanusi is the worse cbn govt in the history of Nigeria. He arrived Nigeria with his family on a private jet at whose expense?? Pls send the idiot to jail immediately.
ReplyDeleteThose banks were not healthy. We were only seeing falsified figures. And those punks called bank MD'were the ones driving up share making us all loose money in the capital mkt. Some of the existing ones are still not healthy.
DeleteSdk,I lov ur blog,it makes me hapi nd smile so hard.back 2 nigeria,is dis a country? R we moving at all,dis fool of a president is already goin bout nxt year ambition, not bothering 2 rule again, visitin obas, givin d shameless agn money, supporters club 50m,he's goin round celebrating mediorcrity,in d past 2weeks boko haram av killed ova a hundred ppl,has e come out 2 address d public?no,I dnt knw bout dis country nymor, but pls am imploring d youths dat wil vote, pls send dis guy packin, corruption has bcom ok,replacing cbn gov 2 put his own man so stealin 4 d election wil b perfect subsidy moni grew wings nd flew, pension scam moni same tin, foreign reserve 20billion 2 dissapeared,1o b dollars nepa moni too, stella oduah same tin.its beta 2 av a wicked president dan a weak one,God help us
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm.. GEJ is the only president in the world that sacks and replaces government officials like him single handedly without consulting the house of senate and national assembly. In Democracy, you follow due process! You can't just wake up one day and decide to relieve fellow government officials like you of their job all because they are not dancing to your tune. It seems GEJ has forgoting that despite the fact that he is the president, he can also be queried by the house of senate and worst still be removed from the seat of power? This has proven beyond reasonable doubt that what we pratice here in Nigeria is not democracy. GEJ is a dictator in traditional attire. Indeed we have a long way to go.
ReplyDelete'forgoting' ke?? Ok oo
DeleteJona is seriously trying to protect his woman friend, I just heard that the PPPRA guy has been sacked too. Abeg na them know jare. Let them continue with their shenanigans, God will deliver us from these looters one day.
ReplyDeleteON SANUSI...(1)you accepted to work with a corrupt system(2)you did not resign when you realised(3)you started really talking few months to your tenure expiration(4)You have never condemned the continued killing of nigerians in benue n other parts by your fulani brothers(5) you siphon funds under the guise of corporate social responsibility giving money to political parties in Billions...All Inhouse deception

DeleteEverything now is court.*yimu*Sanusi was nolonger a banker but a politician before he was relieved of his job.what was el rufai doing with him at the airport ? he was clearly working for the opposition, lets see if apc will offer him a job now that he's jobless.
ReplyDeleteMost of your blog visitors are too putty-brained to discuss issues like this. Find something less intellectual like the story of Sanusi's girlfriend or GEJ's baby mama.
ReplyDeleteWell I agree, some people make it almost impossible for one to engage in a meaningful intellectual discourse on this thread. After reading a few lousy comments I just give up. Perhaps I should do this on Sahara if they are interactive. Sighs
DeleteMkpi like you.
Delete@ Linda Eze dearie am wth u on dis one "don't fucking care jare"
ReplyDeleteDis country nd it's politics get W-leg big time
Same old shit been recycled all d time
But am sure all dis moves GEJ dey embark on get serious agenda
Na dem sabi biko
OSHISKOLOGY!!!
This whole thing reeks of witch hunting. The guy was going to leave in a few months anyway what's the big deal?
ReplyDeleteNna meeeen,uploaduonu comment na. Oginizi?
ReplyDeleteare u all aware that a Tin of rice is now 700 naira?
ReplyDelete@Galore
Lol Galore the nut case! How is Bello Hall?
DeleteSanusi should go and show his skill of 'turenchi' to his ppl up north. I have never heard any cbn governor talk like sanusi. Talk with so much arrogance and pride. Go and do your emirship in your village. You are just a bloody alarmist. Sebi government go open your Yamaha too. The contract wey u an Rufai dey do wey u dey pay and una nor do am.
ReplyDeleteIt took him few days to remove Sanusi after opening the yansh of NNPC, without setting up his mumu committee, just like he did with Madam Stella. Jonathan is not a smart man. Now it established that nnpc spends 700 million naira on kerosene daily. These animals should fear God.
ReplyDeleteMy own is that Sanusi may act all intelligent and eloquent... Matter of fact, he is indeed a first class brain. And if he stuck to the 'rules of engagement' as the 'disciplinarian' that he is posing to be, perhaps I would even vote for him as president if he ever contested. But disregard all I just rant, Sanusi is no way near being better than GEJ. Mr President, as much as I despise his governance, knows sanusi as a cunny man that he is. We are safer with GEJ than this sanusi.
ReplyDeleteSanusi is playing on our intelligence. He can talk about a corrupt system now because he is on his way out. He can criticise a government that he helped corrupt thus far. Now he's talking about youth empowerment..the heart and the most sensitive part of any country's governance, the youth. And dhearsome people fell for it.
Sanusi should also tell us what he knows about the sponsorship of the BH insurgency. He should pls not skip that very vital part of the robust ass opening he wants to do whenever he chooses to release his 'secrets'. Hypocrite of the highest rank. Abeg abeg
Gbam! Sisi Eko ....spot on
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteAbeg will discussing this give me a job? Hian! I'll rather discuss sumtin that would make me laugh and forget my problems
ReplyDeleteStella I love your blog but sometimes I tire for u,why wld he just take a walk, how will that look on his CV,besides the president does no have the power to sack the CBN governor, that is up to the legislators. If everyone takes a walk everytime they are sacked for no reason, then what message are we sending to our kids.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteWas he sacked?
ReplyDeleteWhere is the letter from Dr Reuben Abati?
Open letters season is over we are now in sacking season.
Who is next?
This your mouth is specially made for blowjob
DeleteNor be only BJ, na to suck, big lips. Lol.
DeleteTot he's suppose to retire in June so y d hurry to do away wit him, I suspect a conspiracy
ReplyDeletePls don't add politics to your blog, stay with your gossip, l just read linda's and was disgusted with the immatured people commenting foolishly, some can't differenciate btw suspension and sack. Pls stick to your normal gist u are good with it.
ReplyDeleteSame here...when someone who's In Sanusis position starts frolicking with politicians, obviously his white linen will be dirtied....by the way, when you hold such a sensitive position, you don't just open your gutter anyhow....for people to applaud you?...peeps have been abusing, cursing and all sorts about Jonathan without even having any understanding of what is truly happening! Nigerians can be funny...talking about Iweala, she removed all avenue to getting free cash and all these misleading people esp corrupt politicians are crying wolf asking for her to be sacked...we'll soon understand...and i honestly hope it won't be too late!
DeleteAnd who are u to tell anyone what to talk about? We r Nigerians and have the freedom to talk about whatever affects our nation.. Mr /Mrs nobody feeling like one somebody. Or better still get ur own political blog since na only get right to talk about politics.. ignoramus. Stella my sweetie carry go jare. Continue to talk!
DeleteAbeg, make Sanusi take several seats joor! SDK,help me find one rickety seat for him. The man SLS too dey do over sabi as if say na im put all of us for Nigeria.Arrogant man! E no concern me whether the suspension abi sack is legal or not.The man should go and d..!
ReplyDeleteNice one GEJ !!! No one is untouchable
ReplyDeleteFuel subsidy removal initiator. Our 37th state governor.Lord sanusi.Exposing corruption my foot. Why did he wait till now to do that.
ReplyDeleteI will take you serious if you actually know how much is missing But with the 3 different figures u gave us so far,I know u are now the shadow of your old self.
Smart move my foot. What is smart about removing somebody when he is out of the country? Does it mean he cannot face the man? It smacks of cowardice and lack of confidence.
ReplyDeleteDizeani Allison Madueke is the power behind the empty throne. Sanusi crossed the line when he beamed his searchlight on the petroleum sector via NNPC. This Ijaw government has vowed to eat as much money in 4 years as the Hausa/Fulani stole in 30 years of their plunder of this country. After all the wealth of this country comes from their region and they have sufffered in silence for decades. Sanusi who happens to be an Hausa/Fulani should have read between the lines.
Neither of these parties are saints or without blame. That being said the total disregard for rule of law by the presidency is glaring in this case. The timing is also totally off,it only confirms our suspicions that SLS might have actually opened a can of worms with the presidency is willing to keep covered at all costs. The Nigerian ruling class should know that the truth cannot be hidden it can only be delayed. We will keep watching as this drama unfolds.
ReplyDeleteThey don't care about my existence, and so I don't give a fuck about them... shameless, worthless, and irresponsible leaders!
ReplyDelete
