Facebook Scam - Chioma Mbalaso is A Victim Of Identity Theft.

The person who cried out today about the facebook handle promising to hook up her contact with rich men and discussing sex had a right to alert the public.........Unfortunately the supposed scammer is a victim of identity theft.

After i published the scam alert,i got a lot more ladies sending me the same chat sequence and the culprit blocking them if they suspect anything and ask questions

Chioma Mbalaso is a victim of identity theft and this thief is spoiling her name on the social media.......She made contact with me to clear her name and her response goes thus.

''My Name is CHIOMA MBALASO without the "H" and I opened my Facebook Account since 2008 unlike the CHIOMAH MBALASO which is a new account on facebook.

The person who has stolen my name and using it as CHIOMAH MBALASO is adding up different ladies on facebook and promising to link them up with top dignitaries in the society in return for financial reward.

Please my family, friends and loved ones kindly ignore and do not add her up on Facebook etc.... PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

I have reported the impersonator to facebook and i am sure they will look into it as soon as possible.
Please be careful if you have this person on your contact list on facebook...and please notice the ''H'' added to the Chioma and check out the date of joining facebook.

Thank You
The Real Chioma Mbalaso

  15. I thought as much. When I realised I had mutual friends whom I know very well with her, I just knew someone was impersonating the poor girl.
People please protect your fb accout by putting it in private settings and don't accept every Tom, Dick and Harry. As for me I accept only those I know.

  16. These days even with the private setting, one can still screen shot your picture and use as theirs. Happened to me reported to Facebook and am guessing they took care of it because I never heard anything of that account again...

  26. Hi Stella, first time of commenting on your blog. I was also a victim of what happened to Chioma. They didn't just use my name and pictures to open a facebook account, they went as far as hacking into my account and chatting with some of my friends. It was a friend of mine who now notified me and asked me what I meant by the chat we had through facebook and I told my friend I wasn't the one. Anyway to cut a long story short,I had to notify facebook of someone impersonating me and that's how the account got deleted. Ladies be careful, scammers are everywhere.
