Is a nun supposed to have sex?I am not judging but the church needs to clean up for real..when things like this happen,who answers all the questions that needs to be asked?
Okay read this report and understand where i am coming from.
A Salvadorean nun who said she had no idea she was pregnant gave birth in Italy this week after she felt stomach cramps in her convent and was rushed to hospital, Italian media reported on Friday.
The 31-year-old mother and her baby boy, who weighs 3.5 kilograms (9 pounds), are doing well and other new mothers in Rieti hospital have begun collecting clothes and donations for her, the reports said.
"I did not know I was pregnant. I only felt a stomach pain," the nun was quoted as saying at the hospital, the Italian news agency ANSA reported.
La Repubblica said she gave birth on Wednesday.
ANSA said the nun had named her baby Francesco (Francis) -- also the pope's chosen title and one of the most popular names in Italy, where St Francis of Assisi is the much-loved national patron saint.
The hospital could not be reached for comment.
The nun belongs to the "Little Disciples of Jesus" convent in Campomoro near Rieti, which manages an old people's home and reports said she would keep the baby.
Her fellow nuns were quoted saying they were "very surprised".culled

DeleteM-amie it's medically possible to be pregnant for 9 months without knowing. Some women with PCOS experience this. They have irregular periods and bleed irregularly throughout. I know someone else who had ovarian cysts and was told she'd never get pregnant. She was pregnant and fell terribly ill at 8 months and that's when she found out she was pregnant.

Some priest even play cd message from bishop and archbishop afterward end of service, who comes to church to listen to cd message from bishop. Young people are running out of catholic daily bc of boredom. They should allow priest to marry allow women to participate more in mass,church service should be longer than an hour,preach more from bible instead of reading out from books.

ReplyDeleteI'm a saunch catholic and i did part of my secondary school in a school managed by revernd sisters inside a convent. I remember one of the revrend sisters got pregnant all of a sudden. Every1 was shocked. It was later we found out that her parents forced her to become a reverend sister because they want to answer mama and papa sister. Her boyfriend who impregnated her owned up. The "sister" said she doesn't want to be a sister any more and left the convent. After about a year, she came to visit us with her baby and that her boyfriend, now her husband. I must confess she was glowing and looking very happy.
These things don't surprise me anymore because some of these people didn't choose this kind of life. Some were forced into it by condition or their people. Then some just fall into temptation.
Every1 who believes in God should worship him in truth and in spirit and not allow the actions of our men and women of God affect our relationship with God. These people are still humans no matter what.
