National Open University Convocates Jailbird.

Tuwanse Kabiru,a middle aged man who is serving life sentence in kirikiri, on Saturday graduated with 4,308 students at the 3rd convocation of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), in Lagos.

Kabiru was sentenced to life imprisonment after he was found guilty of murder. The prisoner who came in company of the prison officials was awarded a Bachelors degree (BA) in Human Resource Management.

Congrats to him....I guess being confined has given him a sense of direction.

There is much he can do with that..............Prisons are meant for humans and I don't think there's anyone who is in a better position to manage the core affairs of the Prison better than its inhabitants; there's much impact Kabiru's feat can have on the Nigerian Prison, should he continue in this trend............ They can elevate him to the Position of the ''Inmates Personnel Mgr''.

      .......My humble opinion.......

    Anything murder...
.....he should rot in jail with his certificate.
Someone's blood is somewhere crying against him. A family or some families are constantly in pains because of him.

    1. be there fooling yourself.....after you will come here quoting bible with your fake Christianity you profess.....if he has repented God has already forgiven him......so whatever blood is crying will not hold against him.....we all make mistakes in life and if you want to make heaven you must forgive under whatever circumstances......

  18. His degree won't replace the life of the person he murdered. Let him become a lecturer there.

  19. correct me if am wrong pls but isnt a life sentence supposed to be 25 years ? if that is so, he has just about 16 years to go.If i were him, i d do a master degree and ph.d so when he comes out he ll be referred to as Dr Kabiru.
