The Governor of Delta State in Nigeria, His Excellency Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, has been awarded the 2013 International Outstanding Leadership Award by Metro Éireann, Ireland’s leading and only multicultural newspaper. He will receive the award on Saturday 18 January 2014 in Dublin, Ireland.
The Governor will also participate in the Mini-Investment Summit for Delta State that will also take place in Ireland.
Governor Uduaghan has been selected as this year’s recipient in recognition of his visionary leadership, and the impressive impact that his work has had on the lives of men, women and children in Delta State since he became governor in May 2007.

ReplyDeleteI did my NYSC in Delta State,Asaba precisely in 2012/2013.....Truth be told, Uduaghan has a lot of things unfinished...In Asaba,he only beautified the Summit Road from the Express down to the famous Inter- Bau Round about then straight down Okpanam Road where the have the massive event center. But after Legislative Qtrs,u'd be suprised to see the unspeakable bad road than leads to Okpanam main town.Back to the popular Nnebisi road,he has a lot to work on there cos its a very narrow road......I enjoyed my service year there,Deltans are wonderful people but the award to Mr.Governor is unmerited.//no harsh feelings, my opinion//
ReplyDeletegood for him

ReplyDeleteThose awarding body should be held responsible for the spread of corruption in Nigeria
