WAOH! 50years they've been together? Wow!. I hope we call can see this, you won't tell me they've never had issues in their marriage, but yet they learned to stick together irrespective of the situations. Like when the immatured ones here will keep shouting Divirce him! Divorce him!! Am like are these guys for real?. I hope we all learn fm this. If they had divorced, they won't be celebrating their 50th anniversary period! God, may I also experience this kind of celebration in my home Amen. Congrats to the Nnanna's.

  9. Cool!. 50 years is a long long time. These days the average marriage span is about a decade. 15 years of marriage nowadays equals a silver jubilee. I think what they had in those days was more of patience, companionship and understanding. Sure enough there might have been love but it was more of companionship and understanding which is sadly lacking in marriages of today.

    1. My dear, you are very correct. In those days, who talks about love. Most marriages then were even arranged marriage. Some of them didn't even date at all, yet they last till death. May God help our generation.
