Actress Stephanie Linus is passionate about eradicating VVF in our midst…..so passionate that she is rounding up her movie DRY which concentrates on VVF and the damage it is doing to young girls in our society.
Stephanie also recently partnered with Extended Hands Foundation at the General Hospital Ogoja, Cross River.
Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company recently gave free surgical operations for 22 women living with Vesicovaginal fistula (VVF).
Well done Stephanie!
More grease to her elbows. It seems the media have not been reporting that issues of early or "child" marriages/pregnancies are also wide spread in the South.....rather, they concentrate on the North as if it is the only place with issues of VVF. Even the film portrays it as something that happens only in the North.
