    3. Yeah nice! But this is the kinda thing he should have asked his first lady to handle since she's always doing and saying the wrong stuff.
So, Mr. President, you have tried but those are the kinda stuff for office of the first lady. Do other stuff for us like #constantelectricityfor 2014. WE ARE OVERDUE! Mtcheeeeww

    4. Oh please make I hear word abeg...Good move no doubt, but its the end of the so called 'investigation' we should be concerned about...will he really be prosecuted or allowed to walk away free, after settling the right people. Remember u can get away with nytin in this country with the right amount of money, and nobody knows this better than these expatriates. If that lebanese boko haramist was set free and even allowed to reopen his business ventures(Amigo and Wonderland) like nothing happened, then I don't think there's nytin to be excited about in these tweets...NewBie!

    1. Imagine, dirty Lebanese in this country? Has anyone been to their country to see how lowly they live? Yet, they and the Indians plus d Chinese will come here to bully us...and some stupid people will be kissing their asses.
.......That's how over 70 Chinese folks were deported from Nigeria early this year too. Although those ones were mass producing gele(women head ties) illegally in their condo apartment in Surulere. At least 20 chinkos were living in a 2bedroom flat. Coming out like bees everyday. .....Market women screamed at the loss they were making due to the mass production of these Chinese at cheaper rates..hence they were bursted and deported. So our govt can work effectively if they choose to do so.
.......This Lebanese should be jailed after which he should be fucking deported. Idiot

  4. Thank God for this o hope they will follow it up to the end because this govt is good at paying lip service to thing like this.I just can't work with companies owed by indias, lebanese, chinese and those asians they treat their staffs like slave even if they are graduate

    1. This same Lebanese people have taken over the apapa axis of Lagos. If u as a nigerian got into a strife with a Lebanese guy in apapa and the police is called, u the complainant will be locked up and the Lebanese freed. The DPO and other officers in that area work hand in hand with the Lebanese. These dirty things are more 419 than any nigerian can ever be...the ones around apapa are crooks. rent them a space and they'll start to find a way to take ur property from u for good. They do jazz too oo...I lie NOT. Ok jazz cannot be proven literally, but their hideous ways are on pen and paper...they submit returns to the police every week from their shady business. Perhaps Mr Reuben, I know u read SDK a lot, please investigate what I have just said..these people cannot come and overthrow us in our own country o...una hear?

    1. I know this comment will ruffle some feathers but I hv to say this. Alice is to be blamed to an extent for the loss of her baby. In ante natal clinics,u are taught to report to the clinic in the event of any pain during pregnancy. Alice had this pain for days and she didn't go to her clinic/health centre or maternity(she didn't say so in the story). A baby of 7months can be saved if the mother reports to the clinic on time. That baby is well formed n wud hv survived with the aid of an incubator(or even without one) .Babies of less months are saved here what of 7months.

    4. Anonymous...stop using your ignorance to draw graffiti on this thread what Irene said is the truth.she should have reported to her ANC centre early enough..from the story the beating is enough to land someone on the hospital bed yet she still went to work

      Delete
    5. Irene you are right but where on earth would she get the money to keep the baby in the incubator? This woman earns miserly 12k monthly and you know the kind of country we are in.......things are hard, life is difficult and healthcare is freaking expensive.

From her narration, she was more concerned with saving her job and that of her siblings.

I feel for her and i pray that this exposure will get her justice and possibly a much better replacement of the job she lost and may God bless her with another fruit of the womb.

    6. Anon 7.55,easy before u burst a pipe. From ur verbal ejaculations,I can deduce you are not a mother. I won't withdraw or delete my comment and to Alice,I say Sorry for the pain of losing ur baby. The govt should give the hubby a good job(if he had a good job,Alice wudnt hv gone back to work with the pain),then help Alice get justice. God bless us all

  13. Finally. This is great news indeed. I hope they make a scapegoat out of him and that company if possible. What nonsense!

Please like stella said, if you are going through any form of physical abuse or mental abuse if you may,in your place of work, now is the time to speak up. Nigerians really need to learn to speak up about things and air their grievances before things escalate to a point where it's either too late or they've been seriously harmed!

  31. Soon our leaders will figure out that the lee way they give these foreign leeches can never be reciprocated. I defy OBJ or GEJ or the dim witted AGANGA to go and get a local government contract in India, Lebanon or China not to talk of USA, UK or Canada. But these fools have continued the tradition of opening us (including themselves) as slaves to all manner of foreign partners where the best and the brightest that we have to offer have to grovel for crumbs in their own land.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I once had an encounter with those dimwits called the Vaswani brothers. I went to deliver a document to Haresh Vaswani on behalf of my then employer, on getting to their Honda Place office in VI, I greeted the idiot and he refused to acknowledge my greeting. When I insisted he should collect the document, he suddenly got angry and threatened to shoot me, I was livid and dared him too, swearing at him in the process. I stormed out of the office and before I got back to the office, the dumb fool had called my office insisting my MD should sack me...NA YAM

  38. All these chinese/lebanese/indian companies should be dealt with seriously!
None of them pay the stipulated minimum wage rate( I wonder what NLC is doing)
None of them is concerned about their worker's welfare(u lose an arm, u lose ur job)
Trade Union, Labour Union and the concerned ministry should do something about them. If they can't stick to the rules, they should go back to their countries.
Example: Bedmate that pay workers #12000-#13000 monthly. The highest u can earn is abt #30000 and dats if u've been working like a donkey for several years.
Let's forget abt the police, they settle dem weekly so the police will investigate nothing.
Every Chinese/Lebanese/Indian/Korean/Japenese Company on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway do exploit their workers.
I won't blame the workers for staying put, our government has gone mad and our economy is in shambles.
#Chinese/Japanese/Korean/Lebanese/Indian must go- *Ayaf vex patapata!!!

  41. I don't know but my mind tells me that the First Lady can handle this issue better. She will use girigiri and help Mrs Alice. The DAME does not tolerate nonsense ooo.
