Governors Report Card......Who Failed?Who Passed?Who Rocked And Who Didnt?
Report your governors here...we need to know which ones really worked this year 2013 to better their various states and which ones only spent the whole of this year cooking up one brouhaha or another.
This is their report card and i am sure your can positively criticise them and help them work better.
I am not saying come here to cuss anyone out..that's not a solution.
Lets tell them what they did right, wrong and how they can be better for next year 2014.
Okay so when you are done with your complaints or Encomiums for your governor, how would you rate them on a scale of 100?
Those of you in Lagos state, what do you think Fashola needs to concentrate on?Remember he is not allowed to tamper with Federal property.
Okay,who is first?

DeleteYou are right about Imo Governor not paying His contractors.
Deletei have a contractor friend and he hasn't been paid in a while
ReplyDeleteThough I don't live in Naija, Lagos will always be my state. I loved what I saw in Lag last time I visited. I love what I hear about Lagos. Oga Fash, I know Festac is not your jurisdiction but Asiwaju was trying to take it over from the useless FG. The place is now like a glorified slum, please use your legal sense to take it over and restore it to past glory.
Ogun state governor failed woefully !!

DeleteAnon what did he do, u need to go to akwa ibom state to know wat is happening All my contacts from that state didn't allow me rest during this Christmas period with dps, pms and all attesting to that fact. Them they praise the man die, akwa ibom ayaya.

Governor Godswill Obot Akpabio...........You are the real man. If u r not from Akwa Ibom, am Sorry u r missing out. I love my State
DeleteY won't Akpabio rank highest eh? His state has got the highest allocation. AK deserves to be the 'dubai' of nigeria. But no, he's busyin giving cars to Anne/2face, Doctors. Abeg, he can do better!
Deleteeye health, I'm with u on dis. U see, we have become so used to our governors not doing shit that when a governor manages to tar roads, it becomes a great achievement. For ur info,(all of u praising Godswill Akpabio) Akwa ibom gets 20 billion naira on d average every month as allocation from fed coffers alone while another state like benue get barely 3 billion monthly. Now tell me, with dat kind of money from Aso rock alone(mind u, he also generate money from oda sources like tax and other income heads), will u really say dat he has achieved a great deal. Even Lagos state doesn't get up to half of wot this state gets. So pls b4 u come here to start singing any body's praise, do some research and don't come here making it look like a one eyed man being in d land of d blind is perfect. No, it isn't. Don't let dis poverty mentality becloud ur sense of judgement
DeleteAnon 11:42pm. God bless u 4 dis comment. We have become so blinded to poverty dat any mediocre performance by any of these governors will be considered as a milestone achievement. SMH for Nigeria
DeleteUduaghan is a highway robber! I can't even score him! Fashola dey try even Chime
ReplyDeleteLmao@highway robber. Una get mouth ooo
DeleteUduahgan is the absolute worst. Poor Delta state. That man should better not be re elected. Useless.com
DeleteFashola has really tried and although his actions may look stringent, but it's all for our good. I rate him 90%
ReplyDeleteAnambra state, Governor, Peter Obi-68%
ReplyDeleteAbia state, Governor, Theodore Orji-55%
Enugu state, Governor sullivan Chime-65%
IMO state, Governor Rochas okorocha -61%
Ebonyi state Governor Martins Elechi -49%
Rivers state Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi -63%
Before you cuss me out, let me inform you that I have visited these state regularly this year, the above results were my personal assessment so far(you're entitled to yours).
If i hear say u rate T A orji 55%... What has he done for Abia state?? No light, no jobs, no security, no good roads, improper waste disaposal e.t.c and yet he makes pple pay useless taxes like, infrastructural levy, community development levy, physical planning levy and securIty (bakassi) levy. Even 0% is too much for him...
DeleteAbia 7% joor!!! Did u visit Aba?
DeleteI don't know about other years, but this year he deserves that rating.
DeleteI willl boldly say your personal assesment of TA Orji is totally wrong. Visiting isn't same as living, is it?
DeleteTA's goverance is 24.6%.
Did I hear u mention Peter Obi? Those things u saw wen u visited was another man's work not him. Peter Obi is a bunch of disgrace. His name is simply Ada Obi. Kudos to Godswill Akpabio, Uncle Fashola and Sullivan Chime of Enugu state.
DeleteImo- Rochas Okorocha-----he tried wit his free edu @ d tertiary institutions(he shud provide dem pupils and students wit skool books),built some roads and markets and some oda things I don't hav d strenght to type.I rate him 40/100
ReplyDeleteFool!how many govs can provide free edu.even d fashola dat you all re talking about cannot try it.Rochas God bless u#sipsMoet nChandon#

My gov rotimi tried very well in education aspect, he did awesome wud rate him 95% der but for our roads in d state its an eye sore. U cnt go out cos u wud get stuck. My governor pls improve in dt aspect den generally wud grade him 70%
ReplyDeleteYou are right. Port Harcourt traffic is a NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is killing the city.
DeleteI give Rotimi Chibuike Amechi(RCA) a pass mark.
ReplyDeleteRotimi only gave out government cars to his girlfriends. And is going about wearing coloured socks and crying wolf.
DeleteAkpabio,80% #tohtohtinz#
ReplyDeleteSmh. Dis is sad. Y is he not building his state?
DeleteBad belle Esther Looking for opportunity to fuck even his PA's PA. Nonsense.
DeletePeter Obi of Anambra State had 4/10 this 2nd tenure.
ReplyDelete@Fashola is still performing well in Lagos
ReplyDeleteHe should keep it up
@Galore
Uduaghan failed woefully!
ReplyDeleteHonestly Uduaghan failed..I served in Delta and I must say;the state is over hyped....I think Sullivan Chime did fabulously well.
DeleteYeah! What part of Delta State did u serve? The guy (Uduaghan) is a bloody disgrace! I know Ibori was a thief but he tried more than Uduaghan
DeleteIbori and uduaghan aren't they cousins what do you expect?
DeleteNaija girls can clinch for d universe...hmmm wot part of Delta state did u serve bcos of suit n tie(fine boy) lol
DeletePeter obi is d worst mztake anambra state has eva made.... He is busy living on past glory of Ngige!
ReplyDeleteGbam! Oh how I dislike that man. Thank God his tenure is finally over. Phew! Next time Anambrarians should vote with sense not allowing sentiments to cloud their sense of judgement.
DeleteTo be honest our governors fashola included are one of the biggest problems in the country. Is there any real development in their states? What has happened to all the billions in allocations they hv been receiving over the years. The so called ACN governors that go around as if they are any better than the rest...are they any better? If you are close to the runnings of Lagos state government you will find a situation where fashola and his PA's are stupendously rich with the PA's flaunting their new found wealth. This cuts across the entire government. I won't even talk about the likes of akwa ibom and delta.
ReplyDelete1. Abia state Governor should be shot by a firing squad or hanged
ReplyDelete2. Amaechi is busy fighting the president while rivers state rots
3. Uduaghan failed
4. Na for newspaper oshiomole dey work
5.fashola is the man but make e try face ikotun and iyana paja area
6.Akpabio I don't like but e dey try
7.All the state governors wey boko haram capture their ststes...una go vomit all the security votes una dey collect.
I wil give Mimiko of Ondo 65%
ReplyDeleteDelta state gov Uduaghan is a terrible governor in short I rate him 2 /100, Sullivan Chime of Enugu is trying, I rate him 65 percent
ReplyDeleteUduaghan of Delta scored 2/100, he is a terrible governor, I wud rate Sullivan Chime of Enugu 65 percent
ReplyDeleteOga Fash is working.Lagos is moving.
ReplyDeleteRotimi Amaechi 10 percent, he spent the year in abuja, touring the northern states, hosting rallies, fighting GEJ and co, renting crowds, paying the nation newspaper to make the front page every other day. The roads in ph are of very low quality. He did better his first tenure tho. This year he dedicated his time to politics. No single traffic light in ph. He built schools and health centres with no doctors. Amaechi should keep gallivanting from sokoto to kano to Lagos. Akpabio, Peter Obi n Fashola are the three best governors in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteGo to Rivers b4 u start talking rubbish...I no say na Yesom Wike b dis...bad belle
DeleteGov amaechi tried
ReplyDeleteGov adams tried
Fashola tried
akpabio tried
Dunno bout the rest
Godswill Akpabio, the uncommon transformation gov, i'll give you more than 90% but we need the seaport to be ready before 2015.@uyai
ReplyDeleteGodswill Akpabio, the uncommon transformation gov, i'll give you more than 90% but we need the seaport to be ready before 2015.@uyai
ReplyDeleteRotimi ameachi revers state gov 85% bcs of the nkpongu, elekahai, rumumasi, LNG by amadi, okuru, abuloma ada george. in progress. now is trans-amadi to odani rd in elelewo e.t.c etc etc. Ph is neat gabages re well disposed That's the rd part oh then checkout the well euipped health centers scartered every where not to talk of well furnished schools all over plus the employment of teachers. I don't knw what is going on with him right now but I pray he gets out of it in piec. But dam the guy is working.
ReplyDeleteTaaa shatap there, lie..nus. Ameachi scored 10 percent. He had better face his babymama in uk and stop making noise.
DeleteHe worked tirelessly in his first tenure. His second teunure hasn't been very impressive.
DeleteBabatunde Raji Fashola 100% really a good man. Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso is also trying for Kano state. Free education for all the indegenes. This APC ppl dey try
ReplyDeleteI will start from the TOP. Our president is a failed leader, since he failed Nigerians,i don't expect much from governors. Governors look up to him as leader the way we look up to our parents since he is failing us,governors will as well fail their states. Imo governors since the past 14years are failed politicians. Douglas road/Owerri market road needs new face. The only project i see in the state is new hotels every month, filling station, keke public transport, state without industries can not grow its citizens.
ReplyDeleteAll state governors failed, Akpabio should stop wasting public fund on irrelevant projects, money he spent on christmas corals concert can change the lives of youths in the state.
Fashola is a failed politician after 1st term, he can do better without selfish and greedy Tinubu .
God bless u for dis comment. If only all d commenters here would have their eyes opened to wot is going on behind d scenes as regards how much these states collects for allocations, how much they generate internally, etc, then they'll know dat these all these governors have just been acting hell of a movies for us. I weep for our country, Nigeria. It's been a failed country since God knows when
DeleteStella pls how do open an acct
ReplyDeleteOPEnID is not working
gov of ondostate aint doing shit the journalist are hyping him....the masses are suffering.the rate of poverty is high in ondostate....
ReplyDeleteLagos
ReplyDeleteFashola should concentrate more on the slums in Lagos and their roads. He seems to have rested on his oars this second term.
Delta
Uduaghan should concentrate on three major things; the humongous refuse heaps that dot almost every road and street in Delta.
#2, Mad people! The rate of mad people roaming about in Delta State is alarming! There is no zone I was in Delta State that I didn't encounter at least one mad person. Asaba, Ughelli,Sapele, Agbor (here, a woman ran mad right in our very presence), Okpara Waterside etc. The third thing is the youth mindset. An average Deltan living in Delta is an unserious, superficial being. All they care about is the fast life, govt/oil money, sex etc. Students prefer to come late and be punished than be in class. You will see them sitting on the grass they are supposed to be cutting (as punishment) like they are on a picnic. The youths there do not encourage investments, someone you employ to service your base station gen will steal your diesel. Gateman will connive with area boys to harass you when you are there for inspection. To cut small patch of grass around your site na big money.
They waste away their youth and later when they are past their prime, you see them enrolling in ICE for adult education.
Early momo go to some kain secretariats and you will see some Baba 70s reeking of Alcohol! as early as 7am.
Osun
Aregbesola should concentrate more on students he is buying tablets for. The average student in Osun esp. those villages are dullards!!
The road network there is amazing. You will encounter tarred roads in streets inside some remote, obscure village.
Ogun
My governor *smiles* This man has tried in so many areas but the number one problem Ogun State that has remained unsolved is Water. Na wa! Back then whenever we went for the Eid-il-Fitr celebration, na to dey buy tanker water, thank God for borehole. Another issue which I hear is being tackled is health. There are some villages you go to in Ogun State and there is no clinic whatsoever. It is unbelievable!!!
PS: All the governors should work on Water. In Nigeria, water is even much more of a problem than electricity but we don't know because most of us have boreholes in our houses and maintenance cost is low unlike electricity where you have to buy fuel.
Is there any state in Nigeria where you can open your tap and be guaranteed to get water no matter where you are in an urban/rural area? I don't think so. In that aspect, all our Governors are failures. Water is basic and so essential and should never be something we lack.
Oyo State: Mad people and beggars everywhere. Beautification will go a long way too. Ibadan is too unattractive and the roads are too narrow. Gov. Ajumobi pls do the needful.
DeleteAjumobi has done alot compared to previous governors of oyo state
DeleteI would have love to rate Fashola high, but some of us know he is codedly stealing lagos state money.
ReplyDeleteMr Fashola, pls try pay teachers their bonuses(christmas, leave etc)
Promote teachers when due and pay them when promoted.
Well done on the road rehabilitation programs!
Eko oni baje!!!
Theodore Orji, Abia state governor. I was in Aba recently very terrible.
ReplyDeletehe has turn abia state to a great city and lots of development going on
DeleteAmosun onifila gogoro!
ReplyDeleteI love ur plans for Akute(e make sense)
And rehabilitating Mowe-Ofada road increased my respect for you
Let me borrow u small sense!
Tax all these chinese companies heavily and make sure they involve in CSR so dey take some burden off u
Ogun is bigger than lagos and is getting more populated
Pls do something about ibafo market, dat place disgust me!
Ogun is nt jus abeokuta and ijebu ode
I'll rate u 50 and Fashola 68!!!
75+ FOR EDO STATE GOVERNOR
ReplyDelete75+ FOR EDO STATE GOVERNOR
ReplyDelete@omotola, it practically show you are not from Ogun state. How can you say Amosun fail woefully, after turning the whole state into a construction site. Please can you state exactly where he has failed and stop generalising,at least nobody is perfect.
ReplyDeleteIs there any other lazy gov like peter obi...if dem dey make una tell me....since he enterd govt hse and left, absolutely notin has changed...now he has put his stooge there 2 continue his legacy of laziness....mtchewww
ReplyDeleteAmaechi is 0. A house that stands against itself can never stand.
ReplyDeleteEmmanuel Uduaghan is just a useless man. He used all our state money to do that surgery dat removed the kpom on his head. No road, hospitals are not equipped , only d schools on d major road like igbudu primary school was renovated . what happens to aleru primary school ? Same pole who work for desopadec are civil servants in govs office and have now collected militancy scholarship while others are roasting without jobs
ReplyDeleteUduaghan no do anything.n.a. 0/100 I give am
DeleteAbia governor is the worst mistake the state has ever made. Rating him even adds relevance to this disgrace. He has done absolutely nothing to be rated. I'm from Abia and I grew up and still live there. Nothing, even a thing, has been done there. Roads are bad, workers are not paid, no employment, no focus, nothing!!! Oh, how that man has failed his people!!! I'm so sad about this. We can't wait for 2015, honestly. It's painful
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you. It's so sad.
DeleteLemme start wit my states governors{i be delta-bayelsa :-D} Uduaghan - u deserve Aluu treatment! Nothing the nicca dey do for Burutu and Bomadi LGs, infact nothing him do for Delta state...
ReplyDeleteBayelsa state - Seriake Dickson na untop Woman u dey govern ur state? Your leadership is an extension of the tyrannical style of leadership timipre slyva used. Police brutality is on the increase, youth restiveness and cultism continue to reign in B.Y, No jobs, corruption nd Bayelsa state continue to walk hand in hand, common students bursary u no wan pay! By and large, you're trying in terms of road construction but overall, na 8/100 i go score u
Fashola is working but he should try and do something about the whole mainland. That side looks like a differnt Lagos, I dread going there, the bad roads and all.
ReplyDeleteFashola is working , Lagos is working! Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State is also working, he's got mad passion for the state. Liyel Imoke of Cross River hmmmmm slow poison...tatafo said he's sold the cultural centre in Calabar to Shoprite, let them keep shopping. Funny dude, living on Donald Duke's past glory. The much acclaimed Tinapa is underutilized he sees no need for that. Taxes his people excessively including the poor market men n women. Rivers State Ameachi, is Hulk Hogan or do I say Mike Tyson! Fighting is all he does now. Imo State's Okorocha, very good n hardworking man, heard he gathered the less privileged in his state n gave money and food to them. My mum loves him! Uduaghan...he has tried, he built an airport in Asaba, makes traveling easier. I love him for that. Abia state hmmmmmmm issokay. Ekiti state? My oh my! Benue state? X...well water is still in use even in the state capital. God bless Nigeria...EEE!!!
ReplyDeleteFor Kwara state - Abdulfathah Ahmed - you're the worst performing governor, there is no meaningful project u can lay ur hands to and say yes as a governor, this is what my administration has been able to do. 0/100...
ReplyDeleteAmeachi ur first tenure was 92/100 for me, today, i'll score ur 2nd tenure 15/100 u let politics derail d development of your state...
Gov Fashola has tried in terms of ikoyi and environs and maybe oshodi but what about iyana-ipaja, ayobo, ikotun, egbeda, abule egba, ijegun e.t.c? No electricity, no pipe-borne water, no good roads and these areas are part of lagos state!.
Gov Akpabio has transformed Uyo but not akwa-ibom state. Placing development in the state capital is disgusting. The political killings in his state clearly shows his evil side...
For the Northern govs, they've all failed woefully!
Governor of my state, adams oshiomole, 0%. No good roads,no infrastructural development, no regard for his people, worker's and pensioners salaries not paid on time, busy spending money on parties and putting up billboards of things he hasn't done . Total failure from a noise maker.
ReplyDeleteJst shut up abeg. Have you gone to villages in Edo state to wat d Gov is doing? Keyboard warrior!
DeleteWhich village please?all you blind village champions that keeps applauding him thats why the state is still what it is today. I don't blame you,you have never left your village to go to other states to see what is called development. Take a trip to other states if you can afford it and see what other governors are doing. All your retarded gov knows how to do is talk and party.Empty barrel
DeleteThnk u anon, which edo state it must not be the same one I'm from,d only flaw he has is that of not paying salaries n early retirement thing he is doing, for roads you must be blind because he has improved edo state very much especialy to the state that foolish lucky igbedion left it and in other aspects.I would give him 70%
DeleteMy state gov Gabriel susuam useless man na only to spend moni on top that him mulatto gf na him e sabi. God will surely punish u. Idiot man
ReplyDeleteFashola did well. But he should pls do something about omo onile. It should be a criminal offence in Lagos state when you buy land from land owners and some miscreant come to collect money at different stages of development like foundation, roofing, fencing etc. Its really annoying.
ReplyDeleteIf u haven't noticed, start from today, AIT and NTA always have something to write about Gov. Orji. He did this, he did that when infact Abia state is the worst state among all the states it shares boundries with. I live in Umuahia but I look forward to anything that will take me out of the state even it's for a few days. In no other state in Nigeria will you find the number of
ReplyDeletethe govt green plate number on cars like in Abia state. Once u have a friend close to the govt, even if u r a tout, u will get a govt plate number for protection from other touts in the state.
l'd b too extravagant if i grade T.A Orji 5/100 so il settle for 2/100 for d interest of fairness. Owing to d crop of clueless nd inbeciled politicians ruling Abia, i'd advocate that Abia be disbanded as a state nd its territory shared btw Rivers, Imo and Ebonyi. Abia is unarguably in a Tsunami state under this voracious monster called T. Orji.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't have said it better.
DeleteGov Theodore orji of abia state is just a curse to that state. Honestly only God will judge that man! D man has done absolutely nothing since he got into power 8yrs ago, abia pple are just enjoying d good works of orji kalu. Theodore orji, keep it up oh, but u will answer to ur creator when u get to heaven! His score by d way is 0/100.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing he did was litter the highway with his stupid ochendo billboards.

DeleteAmaechi, educational sector u try,
ReplyDeleteAkpabio,ur ppl love u so I guess u're doing good, fashola, mmmmm? Ok,wada, X,dt wld b all for my report, *winks*
Amaechi has certainly tried, despite the occasional tussle with GEJ, fashola? Mmmm, ok!,akapbio, ur ppl love u so I guess u r doing a goodjob, imoke 65%, idris wada! Aaahh! Syphillis dispenser, take several seats! Dt wld be all for my report!
ReplyDeleteOndo state governor is d best after Lagos' . Have u been to Akure lately? You'll be amazed.
ReplyDeleteGov Wada seems to be d most hardworking and sincere, though he has many haters
ReplyDeleteMe am scoring Peter Obi of Anambra State 7/100. The score is coming from his O Mpa drink o, not about the state. A governor that cannot provide street light for Awka the state capital talk more of other state. Even infront of government house, there is no street light. Where he used to have power is where Ngige is, oga pack well jare, ADA OBI.
ReplyDeleteabia state gove is d worst he needs to be poisoned wit otiapiapia , the roads ar very bad, his a devil devil is usin to punish pple of dat state

One of his voltrons once told me, he's been paying Duke's debt since he was elected that all Duke did was deceive Nigerians. I simply told him to tell Imoke to deceive Nigerians too! At least, let it be registered he did something...EEE!!!

ReplyDeleteGovernor T. A. Orji is presently building a new Abia State for the good of all. governance, breakdown of all traditional values of hard work, integrity, honesty, communal and self help spirit, discipline, transparency and accountability in conducting community and government business.
ReplyDeleteThis new vision was all that was required to under pin an agenda for creating shared prosperity through the development of desirable infrastructure, industry, agriculture and mutually beneficial linkages.
ReplyDeleteTremendous achievements have been recorded under Gov. T.A. Orji as enunciated and enumerated below.
AGRICULTURE:
ReplyDeleteMore than anytime in the history of Abia State, agriculture has received a boost with the reactivation and revitalization of a 5-ton/hour industrial oil palm at Mbawsi, a 2,600 hectare (1,500/ha of improved seedling) of oil palm estate is already in place at Ohambele and 200 hectares of oil palm plantation at Ulonna North and South and Ozuitem – Amamba.
Altogether, 1 million improved seedlings have been planted at the fallow areas of these plantations.
These excluded the pilot songhai integrated farm on 55 hectares at Okwoi Ibeku for plantain banana and pineapples while another 200 hectares have been cultivated for rice and fish farming at Ndibe-Abam in Bende LGA.
Recently, 55 tractors were acquired under PPP initiative for farmers hiring services. The state has continued to honour its counterpart obligations and is part of the new cassava and oil transformation initiative (COTI). As a pacesetter, Governor T.A. Orji recently signed the irrevocable payment order (IPO) to empower Abia commercial farmers to access the N1 billion Agriculture loan domiciled with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The mega farms otherwise called Liberation farms are being established in the 17 LGAs of Abia State in collaboration with ASOPADEC. The project is estimated to create 40000 jobs while a modern abattoir is been set up in Aba under another PPP agreement with an Ottawa-Canada based food company.

DeleteELECTRICITY
ReplyDeleteUmuahia is the only state capital in the entire South East that has electrified the entire streets and roads with street lightings. It is also very peculiar to state here, that it is only in Aba,Umuahia and its environs, that regular and uninterrupted electricity supply has been successfully achieved. This came as a result of the commissioning of the new 2 x 40 MVA, 132/33kv Transmission substation and the 132KVDC transmission line located at Ohiya in Umuahia by the Governor. That is not all, the Abia State government under Chief T.A. Orji had facilitated the ferrying of the gas turbines across Imo River to ensure early completion of the NIPP project at Alaoji. In line with Governor T. A. Orji’s determination to ensure regular availability of electricity for Abia’s numerous small and medium scale industries, the State is leading other South East States to procure the Enugu distribution of PHCN of Nigeria while at the same time installing transformers
in the rural communities.

DeleteHEALTH
ReplyDeleteIn line with Governor T.A. Orji’s promise to sustain primary health care delivery system, he has already upgraded all facilities at the state owned specialist hospital at Amachara and Abayi to the extent that it is the most functional and adequately staffed state owned hospital around here. The Amachara hospital is also an annex ofthe ultra modern diagnostic centres in both Umuahia the State Capital and Aba, the commercial city of Abia with the the new chest clinic at Amachara-Umuahia.
In addition, a storey building has been
constructed for house officers alongside the 2 story building complex meant for resident Doctors. Besides renovating the theatre, work is completed at the accident and emergency units of the hospital. These were executed to enable it cope with increased activities and prevailing challenges. More importantly, Governor T.A has constructed and equipped more than 250 health centres in the different parts of Abia State under its primary health care services and development programme. Each of these health facilities has, in compliance with the MDG been provided with a bore-hole and a tricycle to convey patients to and from the health centres. It is therefore heart worming that Chief T.A Orji kept his assurances that every political ward in Abia State most have a health facility to attend to the health and social needs of the constituents.
As part of his efforts to provide quality health care and services to Abians, Governor T.A Orji is also constructing an auditorium at the specialist hospital Abayi, Aba for student doctors while at the same time meeting the counterpart obligation to the health partners and affiliate agencies such as WHO, UNICEF as demonstrated by the polio-free status of Abia State.
As a tertiary referral centre, Abia’s diagnostic centres are readily accessed by a cross section of Nigerians. Patients who would have been flown abroad for emergency medical treatment are now patronizing the Abia diagnostic centres which boast of world class and State- of- the- art-equipment.
Abia state Gov T.A. Orji has done pretty well in the area of security, Energy distribution, primary and tertiary healthcare, development of human capital through various youth empowerment Programmes, infrastructural development...New essential structures like the workers secretariat, International Conference centre, remodeling of Abia hotels to boost the hospitality and tourism industry, the new high court buildings Umuahia and Aba...the more decent court houses the more judges the more jobs, the new Abia State library headquarters to boost learning and research, the Abia State Specialist and Diagnostic Hospital commended as the best in the entire south east and south south region, the new eye and dialysis centre in Umuahia, the new industrial market Umuahia and Umuahia Modern market to boost commerce and industry also to decongest the Umuahia city centre, the new motor Spare Parts and Mechanic Village at Ohiya Umuahia to create sanity and enhance environmental decency in Umuahia city centre, the new govt house Govt house currently situated in a private and rented property. A functioning skill acquisition centre training about 5000 youths currently. A new broadcasting House (BCA) building, a new JAAC, ASUBEB and Chieftancy affairs complex in Umuahia, A newly built ministry of Justice building in Umuahia, about 250 primary health care centres across the state, partnering with World bank to build Community Social Development program projects as demanded by communities in Abia State, A new House of Assembly Administrative and constituency complex within the HOA premises. A new ASEPA building, ASEPA is currently occupying a rented building, built &commissioned the Amaokwe housing Estate in Umuahia, Isieke, Amaudo and Aso small and medium income housing estates are currently ongoing in Umuahia, massive investment in the environmental sector...Opening up drains in Aba & Umuahia, provision of refuse dump equipment & Trucks etc. The govt has built numerous rural and urban roads in Isukwuato, Ohafia, Bende Umunneochi, Umuahia, Ikwu ano, Isi ala Ngwa etc including the 17 major Aba city roads recently embarked upon...Brass, Milverton, Ngwa Road, Faulks Road, Geometric, Ama Ogbonna, etc. All these are verifiable in addition to massive investment on security of lives and property. ABSG invested over 1.5 billion to evacuate power (electricity) from the Ohiya sub power station after the federal govt built but abandoned it. Power supply has improved in Umuahia and environs leading to massive boost in the small and medium scale enterprises sector. Umuahia, the capital city doesn't get dark at night as a result of the massive investment on street light project. Remember security globally requires huge investment and for Abia State to be known currently as a safe zone, massive investment is being invested to sustain the achievement made so far on security. All these and many more doesn't stop Abia State from having her challenges as a State but the good news is that those developmental challenges are being tackled with the funds available to the State without borrowing. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteThe Governor of Abia state has extended his hands of development to cut across all sectors of the economy in the state. This is out of his humane nature. He keeps affecting lives on daily basis in one way or the other not minding the tight and elaborate schedule of his to make the entire state feel the impact of his administration.
among all the south east governors , only the abia state governor chief TAO have received the highest award in Nigeria .so i give him 100%

DeleteAbia state governor to me is the best in 2013. In terms of delivering democratic dividends in the grassroots, Abia is no.1
ReplyDeleteSome of these achievements include: The construction of model primary schools in all LGAs, construction of 100-bed General Hospitals in 9 LGAs (all projects going on simultaneously), over 250 health centres across the state, construction of rural and urban road, construction of state-of-the-art International Conference Centre(Over 5000 sitting capacity. Projects is 90% completed), New Ultra Modern Worker Secretariat nearing completion, relocation of Umuahia main market to Ubani Ibeku, relocation of Ngbuka Market to Ohiya Mechanic Village, relocation of timber market to Ahieke Ndume. In Agriculture Abia has secured food security for its citizens with the establishment of Abia Liberation farms in all LGAs. In fact the achievements are too numerrous to mention here. Abia is the best
You know if the trumpet sounds this moment u have free first class seat to hell fire right? Keep lying eh.
DeleteI am from Arochukwu in Abia State and graduated from Abia State University. Abia State is so poorly/badly governed. No road, no water, no education the list is endless. God will be merciful to Theodore and his people.
After twenty two years of existence as a state, Abia has witnessed a speedy pace of infrastructural development under the able leadership of Chief Theodore Orji (Ochendo). Within this period of existence, Theodore Orji’s led administration is the only government that has been able to lay for the state a foundation for a modern state of this contemporary time.
ReplyDelete1) Construction of an international conference centre with Nine thousand seats capacity and state of the arts facilities, which will help boost the tourism sector of the state and which will
In turn provide employment opportunities for the teeming youths of the state.
2) Construction of a befitting workers secretariat at Umuahia with state of the arts facilities.
3) Construction of an ultra-modern office complex for Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State. (BCA).
4) Construction of a befitting Secretariat for Abia state Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA).
5) Construction of Ultra-Modern Government House and Governors Lodge.
6) Construction of office complex For Abia State Planning Commission.
7) Construction of a high brow Housing Estate Amaokwe.
8) Construction of a specialist/diagnostic hospital in Aba and Umuahia.
9) Construction of over 250 Health Centres spread across the state.
10) Construction of women development Skills Acquisition Centre.
11) Construction of various Road networks in the state Reconstruction of Aba Port Harcourt Road a Federal Government Road, Amaekpe –Okagwe Road Ohafia , Abia state , Nkata –Alike Umukabia Road, Ohuhu , Umucha access Road to CKC , Ejiama Migha Abia state Ovim- Acha Road Amaogwu, Umuekwule Road Abiruba- Nkporo Road.
12) Reconstruction of Danfodio Road Aba, and Ukwumango spot on faulks Road Aba Abia state.
13) Construction of Ubani modern market with access Road and over 7,500 Shops.
14) A proposed Airport of International Standard for the state and projects too numerous to mention.
Interestingly the history of Abia state cannot be complete if Chief Theodore Orji is not mentioned due to his efforts in fast-tracking developments in the state. Critics should learn to be objective in their criticism rather than depend on unfounded and baseless rumours.
I am very sure this is one of Theodore Orji's P.A. liars. Big liars.
DeleteChime,Fashola,Apkabio......these re d governors who seems to be working................

DeleteT.A Orji of abia state is the best governor in Nigeria
ReplyDeleteTahhhhh. Stop lying. Liarrr. He is the "Worstestest" Governor
DeleteStella o. I must comment on this score card case o. Because the lies am seeing concerning the Abia state government will not let me sleep in peace if I Dont.
ReplyDeleteAm not surprised at all to see many praise connectors about him, that's literally what the governor uses the state money to do. To pay aids to keep singing praise for him. Am talkin as a first hand resident of Abia state. I schooled in Abia state and lived in Abia state.
Stella the state is a mess. I mean deep mess. No good road, the man and his agencies have taxed citizens dry yet nothin to show for it. The educational sector, hmmm! God must judge him. The state university is the most costly in Nigeria. 130- 160 thousand the last time I checked, increasing every year.
The man will just buy like 20 buses and share to his kinsmen and they would drive it around and say that he empowered youths. Which youth?
If you see roads in Aba, you will never travel through Aba in your life again.
Am not surprised at all at the number of praise comments he has. There are persons whose jobs it is to do that. The are everywhere in the internet, even students forum on Facebook. They won't let us rest. Always posting their imaginary good works he does.
Aunty Stella, check very well and see whether those that praised him are the frequent people that comment on your post. you will see that even their vocabs is that of trained writers. Am short of words to express the level of corruption and nonsense that abounds in Abia state.
All of them did absolutely nothing considering d state of things compared to allocations they get every month frm d FG, leaving d internal generated revenues. God help Nigeria
ReplyDeleteCheck ur state allocations n knw ur Gov isn't worth d hype. http://mienpamo.wordpress.com/2013/06/21/states-monthly-allocation-for-the-month-of-may-2013-from-the-federal-govt-there-huge-dept-profiles-2/
So it got so serious that Orji had to pay people to come here and sing his praises . God purnish the devil . So what can you guys say about the stinging arearea market ? Its only fools that can believe your stories .
ReplyDeleteThe Young, from that epistle u wrote, just goes to show ure an aide or smn,no real Nigerian enjoying the dividends of democracy has time to write that shit, they tell it as it is,scroll up and read bro,u rlly don't need to come here, copy and paste sme stupid false analytical speech, the governor used in the past or is planning to use in the future.no disrespect but pple like u are the reason Nigeria is the way it is,trying to justify ur failures in stupid speeches thinkn the average Nigerian won't read that shit, guess what? We did! its full of crap,it stinks, and even till my next full stop Abia still stinks.if u actually have a job u do for the governor, why don't u take that as an opportunity given by God,to stand up for the truth, even if its only blogs and under anonymous u can do it,its a start.
ReplyDeletefew like T.A has comprehended what democratic leadership is and how democracy can be ran to improve development in the wider sense.Leadership starts with nerve-racking passion that seizes you, and will commove the gradation mentality, and this phenomenal apathy varies with leader to leader.
ReplyDeleteGovernor T.A has the mental resources and intellectual gradients which determines how he responds to the challenges and this has yielded much advantages and brought lot of change, either to sustain, transformation, retain growth and uphold the validity of progress Abia state over a period of time.
ReplyDeleteT.A Orji has examined the backwardness and build up rot which ensues from improper handling of issues that could obviously be traced from the inventive period when Abia state was created . He is a leader that does strive for a balance on its success and continuity, attract development in its justifiable act of genuinely democratic-polity and systematic approach forming basis of a democratic reality.it is true that is widely believed that Abia state can be said to have had a dysfunctional domain of history of downsize performance coming way back as from the time of creation of Abia state. people cast aspersion ,its is an every day norm, and it is always said that Abia leaders, governors, present and past lack transparently most reliable structures, certain operative context and diplomats hinging on knowledge in all their varieties as their ultimate resources and have fallen below the immediate goal of democratization of the electoral process which contradicts what is been expected of them by their followers.
Unlike T.A Orji, some if not all those who were before him were focused on personal interest by employing constricted and artful leadership styles and made no difference. T.A has demonstrated his administration without cynicism, and such an operative system is a necessity to achieving a critical project. He has manifested a firm reliance and his relationship-oriented manner has create the affinity amongst the people of Abia state.
ReplyDeleteT.A is a leader who is not arrogance, he is neither hostile nor dominance. he is possesses the character of a leader that does not create deep-seated antagonism between his aides and his underlings . T.A ORJI is a leader who is ever ready to endure the trashed heaped on his head, and he must not revile.
ReplyDeleteThe past leaders in Abia had assumed that we do not have any dreams to be fulfilled, they lost track of the rudimentary process which was important to embark on and lead us to our destiny. Propaganda ate deep into their system, selfish interest brought down their values , and the significant of democratic leadership was not met and which made them to fail in their very tenures.
Not too long again before the fruitless tenure of Orji Uzor Kalu collapsed under the weight of repression , dictatorship and autocratic.-he turned the Abia state to a political laboratory and came up with a grandiose political transition that was described as the most non-democratically and non-profitable in of its era which produced no democracy. An administration which created the dullardity of no transformation. OUK's dual tenures were an industry whose business experience held no water in democratic terrain. Obviously he was unable to diffuse the polity in good manner.
ReplyDeleteBut after his eviction from office by constitutional duration, came a man we should support his efforts ,that are spontaneously bringing the desired socio- economic development. T.A Orji made the different and with total consummation we will encourage him to observe continuity and be more clinical in avoidance of uneven disposition of democratic and political influence in order to balance energetic sense of purpose with a concern for the service of others
ReplyDeleteOchendo is working, atleast he has recorded many achievement in health sector ,provided a lot to the youth to which many of them has relied on to lead a good life
ReplyDeleteT.A would remained honoured with sufficient grace to carry on the affairs of this great state of what many have described as one of the poorest states in the South East .His labour shall not be in vain, he has been steadfast, and has not be deterred by criticisms of those who knows nothing about democracy, about moral burden he inherited .But despite the challenges, he has made quite a huge effort which has resulted to a speedy development of our twenty two year old state. It’s obvious that the impact and contribution may have not been felt so swiftly, but am sure that in no less a time to come; Abians will find T.A Orji for more honours
I saw how he started building a workers secretariat which seven executives (including two civilians) could not do. Visiting to what used to be general hospital Amachara and u will discover great transformation which T.A Orji has carried out. That hospital brings s me feeling of good memory, because my mom always told me I was born there. I am glad that the glory of the hospital and on the other hand saves us the agony of losing our loves ones to curable ailment. I would urge us to take a walk to the hospital; there are essential facilities at the specialist Hospital which are world class. You would be astonished as to the money invested in securing duality facilities like the dialysis machines, the MRI machines and more. Those who think these facilities do not mean anything should wait until they are struck by ailments.
ReplyDeleteI did not forget the tranquillity that has been the order of the day over the former Timber Market around World Bank Housing estate. Visiting the Industrial Market further confirmed that a huge difference has taken place in the Abia state.
4 all those mediocres applauding Akpabio , I don't blame you . Do you realised that Akwa Ibom state recieves the biggest allocation monthly !! What has he done with all this allocation .Akpabio is synonymous wt the term 'misplaced priorities' . He has built roads , I agree and that is the only thing he has done . How many of you has used the much talked about e library before ?? The new hospitals, have you received treatment there ?? . Am a medical practitioner and it pierces my heart when I see indigene of an oil rich start crying home cuz he can't afford medical bills . And that free education ! To me he is just making a mockery of those poor children , its better for them to go and learn a trade than wasting their time there when they don't even have learning facilities to . Oh did I mention his cult infested government , when people are appointment based on how you can kill and the number you have killed ! They bear names like ...ikwa afang , mega etc. Akpabio should sit up , Akwa Ibom's allocation is not his family's money ! To whom much is given ..much is expected .
ReplyDeleteGo die!
DeleteYour opinion will never count. I know you. U are not a medical practitioner. Always making noise everywhere. Your only grouse is you never chop Akpabio money. The only people u praise are those whose money have entered your hand. Soon u dump them for the mext piper. That happened b/w u and your 1st boss. Now u are looking for goodwill from his opponent u called several names including illiterate during and after the elections. If this govt favoured u, we'll hear another story. Shut up pls.
ReplyDeleteGodswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom state holds the irritating record of being Nigeria’s most openly profligate governor. He is a father christmas — throwing outlandish cash gifts at politicians, activists, musicians, journalists and whoever captures his fancy. He moves around with bales of mint-fresh cash, spending extravagantly and making reckless donations at public events.
Yet the funds he is wasting does not belong to him. They belong to tax payers in Akwa Ibom State who have continued to wallow in poverty, disease and insecurity despite the huge oil revenue the oil-rich state receives every month. Rather than pull majority of his people out of poverty, Mr. Akpabio has become a waste pipe, frittering away the collective wealth of his people while managing to beautify the state capital to create the impression he is developing the state.
Akpabio only irritates u and your likes. Just because u don't drink from his pipe (because of your bad belle) u go about condemning him. When u started drinking from UOU's pipe, u were praising him on daily basis. Now your volume has gone mute. Looking for the next politician that will wet your dry palm. Whatever rocks your boat dummy!
Delete"...Wasting tax payers money" as if u have ever paid tax. U, that whenever one politician gives u and your fellow noisemakers 20k, u take 15k and lie to the rest that it was 5k that was given. Mtceeeeew. U stink.
DeleteAbia state governor TAO the man of the people. He made abia state the most secured state in nigeria
ReplyDeleteAnonymous seems pained.like u applied and begged akpabio for change and was refused.shut up and bless the man for his amaxing works.im not frm AKS but a visit thr lately i had my jaw drop.after abuja its akwa ibom today o
ReplyDeleteN Theodore released his voltrons...EEE!!!
ReplyDeleteIs Ajimobi not a governor
ReplyDeleteImagine this fools insulting me cuz I spoke my mind about Akpabio . Its mediocrity that is your number one problem . Try and deal with that first . You can all hug the transformer for all I care , considering the huge allocation Akpabuyo collects monthly , he hasn't done anything . You are supporting him cuz you are fucking PA to the PA to the PA to the PA of Akpabio on runs affairs ! Try and take k of your dirty skin ! That way , you can have access to his direct PA perhaps go home wt 50k to pay your fathers debt . Onyara
