Rivers State Government Distributes Toilet Brush At Tonye Harry's Burial

The immediate past Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly,Hon Tonye Harry was buried in his hometown, Obuama in Rivers State on Saturday November 9,2013.
What you are looking at is part of the souvenir distributed at his burial by the Rivers State house of Assembly members.
The other sourvenirs include brush and packer for sweeping and also toilet brush for scrubbing inside the toilet.
There was Surplus food every where and 'leggy' girls in uniform serving as Ushers.

RIP Mr Harry.

  1. Please what am I looking at? I can't tell what it is but I suspect something miserable like toothbrush and packer mentioned.

Is it by force to distribute souvenirs? Why insult the memory of their late colleague with these nonsense. Abi maybe these are for the masses?

  8. Maybe most of the people living in PH don't clean their toilets, thats y they shared the toilet brush. Hope they start maintaining proper cleanliness from now. t

  9. We nigerians have ds mentality that really annoys me. How does it concern anybody if they shared toilet brush or tooth brush? Will it make him come bk to life? We should really learn to mourn people and not celebrate their deaths and talk about whose burial was the talk of town!!! I just love the white... No form of celebration when someone dies...people are even expected to bring food for the families during the burial... But for naija..we go fight over food, fight over gift and still talk bad about the dead... What a SHAME!!!!
