She confessed to being raped on National Radio HERE

This woman went on her knees on Abuja radio station on air crying and begging her husband in tears..i cried with her.
It takes a strong woman to do this...oh God,i pray he forgives her for the sake of God...this story has emotionally drained me.
Na wah...please listen if you have time.

ReplyDeleteWhat a story. So touching. Click on my name and I'll reveal to you with proofs how I make a six figure income online monthly legitimately
DeleteI thought rapist was the one who raped someone
ReplyDeletethe husband is stupid. Someone raped his wife and he left home? is he a virgin? Did she allow herself to be raped? The man dey kolo
ReplyDeleteif the wife was guilty, will she publicise the rape? The husband should use his head abeg. And the rapist go dey lie now to save his face. Idiat

ReplyDeleteCan't listen, don't wanna cry. B back to read comments.
ReplyDeleteI dint listen to d radio but I'm wandering if I'm d only one with a different mentally here?
ReplyDeleteShouldn't the husband of the victim be fighting by his sides wife?
Should she be begging him?
Na wa.....I tire for this country
Hhhhhmmmm this is so pathetic Stella. I believe this woman....this Mr. Peter Friday Akpan is a lying idiot, but I know he'll surely receive his reward. He took advantage of d woman's naivety. I just pray God that gives the couple the Grace to bear this shame/humiliation.I believe Mr. Akpan did this (begged her not to shout) so that he'll continue to hide in his church and commit more atrocities. This Muslim man has shown more maturity and sincerity though it may be due to some reasons - financial, societal connection, shame, etc. Some people hide under church as lions in sheep clothing - abusing the Grace of God Almighty. God have mercy.....my advice Mr. Peter Friday Akpan better confess to this couple and your wife and ask for forgiveness ELSE your prayers, if any, WILL ALWAYS BE hindered. Also, of a truth, you sound like a ROGUE to me.........Mrs. Samuel
ReplyDelete....also it's a lesson to us women. I used to think because I'm educated and thus 'wise', such cannot happen to me but this story (of a naive woman) has taught me a BIG lesson. Even my hubby always protect me against other men and I term it jealousy/timidity - that he lacks exposure but now I know better...that those trusted family friends/relations can turn around and devour you like lion. Sorry madam, I sympathise with you. This is part of the reasons why I DO NOT LIKE BEING A CHURCH LEADER especially in Nigeria, many have become unrepentant (never owns up even when they're wrong) to save face so as to retain their positions......Mrs. Samuel
ReplyDeleteTears in my eyes....sad!sad!!sad!!! I had a similar experience, but God has helped me to heal..
ReplyDeleteThis interviewer is such an insensitive and uncouth goat!
ReplyDeleteThe interviewer is very unprofessional see the way he dey shout anyhow not even showing any emotion to the poor lady who is doing her best to prove her innocence. I really pity this woman and don't see any reason why she should beg her husband as she has gone to great lengths to prove to him that she isn't lying. You can tell she is in love with him even though she is uneducated her story is very clear and i believe those curses she rained on that fool will come true, only if he asks Almighty God for forgiveness.
ReplyDeleteOne word: Hian!!!
ReplyDeleteThe lady had laid a curse on the alleged rapist. Lobatan! Let justice be done
ReplyDeleteNigerian men should wake up. I knw that its never a gud feeling that his wife was raped but abandoning her is stupid, its not her fault that she was raped, her husband didn't show love and support at all by leaving home. Why are women being treated like animals in Africa? If it was a married man that was raped by a woman, his wife wont abandon him, African men shuld learn what it means to love a woman and not see a woman as a piece of trash. As for the rapist DEACON, u just started living a hellish life from the day u took advantage of an innocent, helpless and poor woman. That is why I cant stand CHURCH pple although I am a christain, but there are too many fake pple in church taking positions of authority and misleading gud hearted xtains.
ReplyDeletePoor womam!! I just weep for African women who are unexposed, uneducated and naive. So obvious the man is lieing.
ReplyDeleteAunty stella please I need tony number please oh, I need to make this woman happy every month by giving her something please
ReplyDeleteBeats my imagination beyond bounds, why this idiotic, clearly guilty rapist is still walking free. Only countries in Nigeria can a man rape a woman and still sit down and talk such nonsense. Did you pick up the arrogance, the utter callousness in his voice? he had nothing to say in his own defence. How there was no policeman waiting to pick him up beats me. Nigeria! No procedure for justice and restitution for victims. How the woman who is a victim ends up being the one begging and crying is what I find it hard to comprehend. Why is the man angry at his wife? he should be in jail already for the murder of that weasel that raped his wife!!! That's what husbands do; not run! There is never a reason to justify rape. Whether she went to his house unaccompanied or not, we all should stop with the victim blaming. That idiotic schmuck of a rapist should have his sick, unrepentant behind in jail already. And I can't get over the part he said the woman 'ran away from his church' and went to the radio station. So he expected the victim to put up with the bullshit his church was probably telling her about him being a 'saint' or some holy man? I wish the woman got more opportunity to bitch slap that idiot. smh
ReplyDeleteMy husband family also has exactly the same tradition!...no body is perfect,I really applaude her confidence to express her true love for her husband despite d shame involved.I really shed tears n I learnt a Big lesson.Honestly d man cannot go back despite he has forgiven her UNTIL d requisite rites has bin performed,no Xtianity or muslimity#pardon d grammer# abt it.it must b done else d man pays with his life.So wifey he will cum back n believe he has truly forgiven u,but prepare to go tru ur own cleansing rites as well,ur marriage will even b more enjoyable more dan before after all these are over.GOD bless u with more children.
ReplyDeleteMrs Samuel u are very correct to a large extent. Believe it or not problems starts and ends in Church (or Mosque as it may be)
ReplyDeleteAm a Christian all the way. And I think that it is those who say they work for God (in all capacities) that make life difficult for the average Christians. The Sanctimonious attitudes of our church superiors that shouldn't catch us dead doing certain things.. when in fact they themselves do worse and indulge in various sexual shenanigans. Deprivation of the mental mind from being aptly educated about certain things.. being overly restricted spiritually as humans.. when even God allows us certain things(Not sexual). If as a single or a married folk you cannot discuss your unusual sexual urges or sexual creepiness with a church member for fear of being castigate, then whom do u turn to? It doesn't happen overnight you know..! Wouldn't go to deep, but what I'll say is that this supposed rapist, if unmarried, perhaps has been deprived of sex becos he's portraying himself to be a 'holy' church goer that wants to do it right by his pastor and other onlookers. I don't know the details but I comment by the previous briefings here.
The church should be the point of first contact for every issue that may befall a member, that is if they accommodate such in the particular church environ. Shouldn't be the usual 'holier than thou' brother sister attitude we all put up weekly when we attend service or other church programs. When everyone is in a hurry to say 'God bless u' without first noticing whether all is actually well with the recipient.
I always love to refer to the Ese of COZA scandal in cases like this one. When she first highlighted her disdain to other pastors about her concerns, she did it right..the church was the first place she reported. Which for me was a mini confession that she took into the confidence of the other pastor, but she never got the much desired response or follow up. And it resorted her to the public show of shame for succor. That is why I say problems emanate from the so called pple of God. Its sad.
This man surely has issues, but he's gone ahead to almost destroy a 'friend's' marriage bcos of the demonic urge that should be dealt with if he finds help. This woman's husband hasn't acted right either, what happened to their church resolving this rather than subject the woman to the public ridicule becos she was left no choice? If ur husband whom u lay with every single day deserts u like this, whom do u turn to? I pray her well! Sad!
GOD bless you for this write up. Church for nigerians is something else, no hope for the oppressed. And the husband is not that bright either, akpan should be resting in pieces by now.

ReplyDeleteThe man raped or slept with her. U can feel the woman's pain. He is arguing that the woman should have gone to the police knowing fully well that it is not easy for victims of rape to open up in a Nigerian society due to stigmatization. What on earth is Ministry of Women Affairs doing?
ReplyDeleteI am in tears!!! God, some people are wicked. Please this woman really loves him. me I cant leave my religion oh! she has sacrificed a lot. he should forgive her. she has exposed the truth enough.
