The Rev. Teddy Parker Jr.,pastor of Bibb Mount Zion Baptist Church, 3268 Avondale Mill Road, Macon, was found dead at his home. following service.
His wife found him in the driveway of their Warner Robins home with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, said Houston County Coroner Danny Galpin.
Parker, 41, and wife Larrinecia Sims Parker have two daughters.he attended high school in Fairbanks Alaska and attended Theology International Seminary in Plymouth, Fla.
He entered the ministry when he was 22 and was ordained at Fellowship Bible Baptist Church, 431 Dunbar Road, Warner Robins, where he also taught Sunday school and served as a youth pastor, the church's website states.
No reason was given as to why Parker killed himself and the church asked for privacy to deal with the matter.culled

DeleteMy dear u are not alone. U even ve a job @ least 2 go everyday. myself I ve never known depression like this in my whole life. I feel so broken and empty. I dnt ve frds anymore cos all my frds r married. No one call me on the phone anymore. Just my family. I ve lost so much weight it scares me. No man 2 even call my own. I cry b4 I go 2 sleep and wake up in tears. I sometimes can't stop imagining y all this is happening 2 only one gul. I feel so depressed!!!

Yes our mates are getting married, popping babies and all, but some of our mates have died,some are going through DV abi u no dey read dis blog, some have HIV and AIDS, some are jobless, some are in the village, some are disabled, abi u dont see fine girls on wheel chair ni,some dont have BB or android fone ohhh, m sure some girl is somewhere wishing she can own a BB someday, some don't have access to internet freely let alone read SDK's blog. So we better start praising God instead of complaining. In due season...God will answer our prayers. My 2 cents...By the way i think i need new level headed and cool people(LEVEL HEADED OHHHHHHHH). ReplyDeleteYeah sometimes you look @ life and feel depressed cuz it seems nothing is going as planned. Gets embarrassing too. But am good @ encouraging myself and cuz I have friends in the same shoes I just pick courage. When I feel too heavy I go on my kneels, have a good cry and tell God. ReplyDeleteY not be thankful and full of praises when depression wants to set in? That is what I do whenever I feel so down and @ a time I also feel so lonely I put in My Tope Alabi CD and all those old yoruba christian songs and start to sing and dance all alone in my room praticing atinga and kurukere#coveringface.
some times being alone can be good cos you will be able to think and pray. I mean think positively and pray. dont ask for anything Just keep praising and thanking him you will find peace.
If you feel you cant condone being alone visit people(including your friends that r married and they dont look for you) even in their offices, go to movies Just leave home you will feel you Have achieved a thing or two...
Dont let depression deprive you of your happiness cos it can...
Its just so sad that alot of us r suffering and we feel we are suffering alone. Just go out God will surely show you a worst case than yours becos definitely you are better than many people so also many people are better than you That is how it has always being and will forever be so JUST BE THANKFUL!

It so interesting how we thhink been lonely is only 4 single ppl. Trust me in marriage loneliness is also a big issue. I have been married 4 close 2 2yrs now half of d time am lonely n miserable n I wonder y n how I got myself in to this. Happiness comes from within 1s happiness doesn't depend on some1 elses
