On Thursday the 28th of November 2013, the biggest, most anticipated music festival – Lagos Jazz Series is set to commence with its 4th Edition.
This year’s edition is packed tight with an interesting blend of artists both home-based and international such as Marcus Miller, Antibalas, Nduduzo, Mi Casa, Black Magic, Efya, M.I., Olamide, Phyno, Show Dem Camp and more.
Spinning daily at the park are 4 World DJs – Jerome Sydenham (Germany), Rich Medina (Philadelphia), Radio Slave (Germany) and D.J Caise (Nigeria).
This years event introduces two-time Grammy Award winner Marcus Miller as the new headline act for Lagos Jazz Series 2013.
Below is a full list of the performing artists and show schedule:
Thursday 28th Nov – Muri Okunola Park (French Connection): World DJs, Black Magic and Mi Casa.
Friday 29th Nov – Muri Okunola Park (Afrobeat) : DJs, Teni, Dede Mabiaku, Antibalas, Seun Kuti and Nduduzo Makhathini.
Saturday 30th Nov – Federal Palace Hotel (Soul Night): Antibalas, Efya, Stefano Di Battista, Nduduzo Makhathini and Marcus Miller.
Saturday 30th Nov – Muri Okunola Park (Afro Hip Hop): World DJs, Show Dem Camp, Phyno, Olamide, and Manifest.
Sunday 1st Dec – Muri Okunola Park: World DJs, Peter Fisher, Orliam and M.I and Friends.
Other acts such as Show Dem Camp and others are also scheduled to hit the Park this year.
Lagos Jazz Series will be taking place at the Muri Okunola Park, Federal Palace Hotel and other private locations.

When I saw the caption " LAGOS JAZZ Series" I first thought it was a gathering of Babalawos like they do in Benin city Edo state, I come read am well again, lol.
