A United Airlines flight from Houston to Seattle was diverted to Boise, Idaho, after the pilot reportedly suffered a fatal attack onboard. Boise airport spokeswoman Patti Miller says the apparent heart attack onboard United flight 1603 prompted the emergency landing just before 8pm on Thursday.
The pilot was transported to an area hospital, where he was prounounced dead. At this point, it's not clear if he died at the scene, hospital or en route to the hospital.
The airline is working to accommodate the 161 passengers who are in Boise waiting for a flight to Seattle.
