ReplyDeleteNo,no,no.am sure u meant to say Igbo Ladies win the beauty pageants most and we def know why(because dey come out en masse to compete for such).as dey no find space for deir state, dem go migrate go taraba and co to rep dem. An igbo beauty can neva dream of competing wt a MaLo babe.ask ur feLLow kinsmen who reside in places like Abj.deir beauty is so originaL,pure and undiLuted!#gbam#......Femi

DeleteLinda Eze,without being biased, hausa has the most beautiful pple both male and females in this whole country!!
DeleteIt's cos they don't come out for all these pageants, its against their religious beliefs.

ReplyDeleteSeems like 7 friends just came together in their old prom dresses and crowned the meanest one out of fear...Or Someone(Group?) just wanted to put up a show for Nigerians (to make *organiser*money). BTW,the 'Portee' up there,we don't count who comments first here.

ReplyDeleteEya! I see sai we no too get fine gals for US. Ok na, we go need to send over some for our home babes. Miss Naija in America, u don try sha.
ReplyDeleteYou know what? For all of you who have the audacity to make such bias and cruel commentary regarding then 2013 winner and delegates, I strongly recommend that you do your research before your make a mockery of yourself. The purpose of the MNIA is to bring together the brightest and most beautiful women of Nigerian descent in America to demonstrate the works that they have contributed to their communities both in Nigeria and the United States. The women selected to compete in this pageant are emerging leaders that you will one day hear about. They are beautiful, intelligent and advocates for the Nigerian society. They do not ignore the needs of Nigerians back home. Rather, they continue to challenge themselves to identify ways that they can help from aboard. I personally give my hats off to the MNIA organization and all of the participants because MANY of us will NEVER in our lives have the courage to put ourselves on display to be judged like that. Congratulations to all of the participants and the newly crowned Miss Nigeria in America 2013!
ReplyDeleteWell I was 2007 contestant and ill tell you this... I met some really great ppl who I still remain in contact with till this day however the overall experience was sub par... the producers were unorganized and had ytpical Nigerians who still posses the "I arrived here yesterday" mentality. Honestly, its just an event with a crown put on as a cover for a hustle hhmm no different than 419 scamming. I'm sorry but I was not impressed at all nor were the folks I invited to the event. However, I do have a new found respect for women of pageantry!
