The Swiss Aids Federation has thrown its weight behind the production of condoms for children aged between 12 and 14 years old.
The smaller sized condoms are the result of a study by the Federal Commission on Children and Youth which revealed that teenagers in Switzerland were having unprotected sex because they could not find condoms that fit them.
The study also found that more children younger than 14 are sexually active than there was in the 1990s.
The condoms are 45 mm in diameter instead of the standard 49 to 56 mm diameter and will be distributed through schools.
The box with six condoms can also be bought at shops for $7.

So when they make these condoms and parents walk into a room with their kids actively using the condoms,they send them to mental homes or what?Oh God,i am so shocked!...too many stories that are not just right!
They have done their research, let them be. It will stop the spread of diseases and under-aged pregnancies.

My advice and only advice: "Bring up your child in d way of the Lord, so when he/she grows won't depart from it" This battle isn't for the government alone but parents have d greatest work. Make dem like sell d condoms for $1 dog wey wan go astray no go hear the hunter's whistle.

Stella. These ppl are realistic and responding to reality. No one is preaching under age sex. The fact is children are having underage sex. Its happening a lot in nigeria. But as africans we put our head under the sand instead of accepting reality and responding to it. We keep referring to african values and culture when the truth is that those values are long dead. Culture evolves and ours has. Perhaps based on outside influences but its the fact. I applaud the swiss for being responsible

ReplyDeleteMoral decadence eat deep inside the society. What do you expected when a parents is wayward? They wills definite breeds wayward childrens. When you takes God out of the livings of these young childrens, this is what you get. School these days thinks God is old fashioned, moral are no long teach in school. Apart from train these childrens in the way of God and instilling the right things, parents should also has times for their childrens, noticed their behavioural pattern and if there are any changes in their childrens overtime, it is easier to suspected that they are engagement in immoral things.
