Crisis In PDP As Atiku/Seven Governors Walk Out Of Convention

According to Sahara reporters,Seven governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)walked out of the  special delegates convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), thereby deepening the crisis in the ruling party.

The  governors who took what may be a final walk from the troubled party are those of Jigawa, Niger, Sokoto, Rivers, Niger, Adamawa, and Kwara. Also in the protest walk is a former chairman of the PDP, Abubakar Baraje, and some Senators.

The governors followed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who also walked out, to the Yar'Adua Center in Abuja to address a press conference to detail the reasons for their storming out.

IN OTHER NEWS MY FRIEND JOI ONYEUKWU REPORTS THAT

''Fight broke out at the Anambra state pavilion as some delegates prevented Chris Ubah from taking his seat. He was rough handled in the fight before Security agents could get to the pavilion to help calm the situation.

Some delegates said Chris Ubah has been suspended from the party and has no business at the Convention grounds. His supporters on the other hand said he must stay, blows were actually exchanged at pavilion and chantings of Tony Nwoye in the air.''

*God save Nigeria from the peoples democratic party.I dont know much about politics but i do know enough to know and I really think that party should be dismembered because it has become a mafian organisation!

    1. Very typical. Didn't God say that He'll put confusion into the camp of our enemies? The battle has just started.

  8. SDK, nice one. PDP and their factions. It's only in Ekiti state that they're trying to reconcile, but obviously, that won't last. Factions are everywhere because of one simple rooted reason: Jona's 2015 ambition. He has obviously shown that he isn't an honorable man in keeping to his promise of not contesting after 2011. The intrigues in the party suggest otherwise. The power sharing formula has been betrayed, hence most northerners walked out, with Amaechi who has a vice-presidential ambition.

Andy and Chris dismissal from party politics have been overruled by the court, but trust PDP thugs in Anambra; dem no fit gree.

  12. PDP dat has risen against Nigeria, they will stumble and fall, and now is the time!!
I think they need like 7 factions for an equilibrium splitting *rme*
Nigeria needs total deliverance and cleansing from PDP.

  16. Lol. It is well with Nigeria is all I can say. We desire change but wont do anything to effect the change. Very soon, envelopes, ankara, rice and all sorts will start flying around in exchange for votes. Change begins with you. Your vote is your power.
