Nigeria should follow suit. Tell those leaders in Naija to invest at home not in Dubai, U.S, China and so on. Ghana doesn't have oil but they are thriving. Nigeria can become the jewel of Africa.
ReplyDeleteUmmmm, yes they do have oil, but their leaders are not as greedy as ours.

ReplyDeletewe wait until our structures are rotten then we award contracts to our fellow embezzlers.
until we learn dat we have to maintain and upgrade what we have on ground we will continue to run to foreigns snap n upload pics on instagram tagged...on d move at kotoka airport
nigeria k,they know what to do ,they have been all over the world ,they see things ,they even own real estates in dubai ,malaysia singapore ,uk ,infact all this things has been paid for in nigeria signed and sealed and pocketed ,nigeria leaders are bunch of thieves ,non has any good thing to offer ,they see this things ,they go to europe and sleep in 3000euro a night hotels ,iam so ashamed of my country nigeria ,we have bad leaders and still grooming more ,i have a dream that one day we living in diaspora will one day ,have the opportunity to rebuild nigeria.honestly i weep for my country nigeria .
ReplyDeleteOur airports are meeting up with world standard bit by bit Lagos & abuja still undergoing reconstruction. meanwhile nothing is free in naija, you pay for the scary trolleys in Nigeria plus the porters looking for means to exploit because you've just arrived. Huh things can get better sha o.
ReplyDeleteHmm nija we dey pay for trolley. Giant of africa.
ReplyDeleteNa real HUH raised to power 2!! Lmao!!.Kai but stella u are such a funny happy go person!! Which one is huh now... I say huh huh huh and more huhhhhhhhhhhh
ReplyDeleteTrolleys are free!!! Nigeria airport authority shame on you it's only in Nigeria travelers pay for trolley
ReplyDeleteHmmmm dis is quite impressive.
ReplyDeleteGhana has discovered oil,so there's new money coming in. As for Nigeria, discussing our issues has gotten us nowhere. The solution is for Nigerians to be active in repairing our system and stop complaining. The common Nigerian is equally as bad and corrupt as the leaders we call evil.
ReplyDeleteYou said it all. Until we all are willing to change, NOTHING will happen. We need not only a Bouazizi but an angry enough is enough people to back him up.
DeleteTrolleys cost N400 'to rent' at Nnamdi Azikwe Airport Abuja. That is if you land with change o. If not the girls renting the trolleys out will 'take style' to pocket your change. o ga ju!
ReplyDeleteGajugbukwagi ebe ahu, mpama.
DeleteWhen did they start charging in abuja??
DeleteI know they do in lagos but ive always got them free in abuja ooo.
Never ever paid for one.
The only time you pay is if u let those guyz push ur things for you.
Huhu

ReplyDeleteNiceee! I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteI schooled in Ghana, give them a couple more years and they'll be way ahead of us! Went to visit my friends on thurs, the changes in the Accra ehn! Amazing, their govt is one that works, Nig just has mouth, and ego, finish.
ReplyDeleteThat Girl no lie oh! Signed; mouth open ¿_-_¡
ReplyDeleteExactly you pay for a trolley in American airports.
ReplyDelete@That Girl...d way dis tin is paining u...u must be a staff of FAAN...most probably one of d trolley girls dat keep pple's change...we know you...you can't pass GL O6 (bcos dis tin don too pain u)
ReplyDeleteTrolley girls earn more money than u can ever earn, working as a 'shoe-shinner'.
DeleteMiserable shoe-shinner!
@That Girl, u see...I just profiled u correctly and I was right...pls go to school, get a degree and request for conversion...so dat u can be upgraded from trolley girl/messenger/clerical officer to senior staff!!! #corporatebeggers
DeletePls don't waste ur parents' money going back to school-u have a low IQ ,so school won't do much for u .
DeleteConcentrate on shoe-shining, who knows..
@that Girl. Are you mentally challenged? Check yourself into Yaba left. Have you ever stepped out of this country? I doubt. Wayray asiko. You are obviously a trolley girl, Anony 6:51 sure profiled you wella.
Delete@That Girl, u re nt just a trolley girl...u re also dumb. Else how can u explain d fact dat u didn't grasp d advice I gav u in my last comment. Anyway,I forgive...least I forget, re u sleepin @ d airport 2nite? Be nice 2 travellers ok...dnt beg to much
DeleteI just read d so-called advice *lol and boy, u r as dumb as ur mum - It's beggars not beggers.
DeleteThat said, concentrate on ur shoe-shining pls..
@that Girl. Are you mentally challenged? Check yourself into Yaba left. Have you ever stepped out of this country? I doubt. Wayray asiko. You are obviously a trolley girl, Anony 6:51 sure profiled you wella.
DeleteCoupled with our hungry looking customs and immigration officers toasting you for change.very annoying.
ReplyDeleteShould have included pictures of MMA arrival hall.
ReplyDeleteHey give me a break, i really dont see any diff btw Nig/Gh, u need to see this airport before this so called 'refurbishment' sometimes i smh for d whole of Africa in general, we all have 1 common issue - our leaders.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, i know trolleys r not free in US airports, but our airports are not as functional as theirs
MMA1 charges 500 per trolley @ d departure and 150 or so @ d arrival, whereas Ghana's always been free trolleys, no porters harass u d way ours do
Nigeria is a big joke and our leaders know it but d poverty of their minds wl not make them do the right thing.
Shameless people, they travel all over, spend carelessly and never picked any ideas to come plant in d country and yet they open their rotten mouth to say 'i pledge to Nigeria ... My country' pledge indeed.
As for the person that talked about Ghana bn better than Nigeria, thats a story for another day, remember d population of the whole Ghana is just Lagos state, yes they have discovered oil but how are they putting d resources into good use? D 1st assignment their president did when he got there was to get himself a private jet - oh plzzzzz
Africans are the problems of Africa, South Africa excluded as @ now, they r d only sane country in Africa as i type!
HYBunny
Finally, i read on a friends page on fb the other day ranting that the MMA1 ceiling of 35yrs is been sprayed and coated, while d contract says 'replaced' meanwhile d dough for the changed has been sealed, signed & delivered!
ReplyDeleteTo all the leaders pulling Nigeria backward, making Nigeria scary for ppl like us to come back home, i hand u all to baba God cause He's d only 1 that can deal with u all
HYBunny
4 dos who fly only,me na peace park i dey use eh
ReplyDeleteIn Naija, you pay for a trolley, and the imbecile who helps you push the trolley has the effrontery to ask you to pay him personally. *and not like he's begging or asking nicely* bunch of retarded touts.
ReplyDeleteWetin happen to ur own hand...person offered u a service an asked for payment and u are complaining. Abeg next time push ur trolley urself and stop looking for imbeciles to push it for you
Deleteliar!
ReplyDeleteStella since you have hit on the airport.....the next story you should do is on those miserable God forsaken people called custom officers. They are just a bunch of nuisance who derives so much pleasure on frustrating the lives of travellers coming I to the country. How on wary are you expected to travel and have nothing in your suitcase? What do they expect in a suitcase of 23kg yet they use their filthy hands to ransack it and then ask you money. You need to do a story on them.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand those hungry looking frustrated custom officers. What I usually do is to open all my suitcases/ bags. Once they ask I just open straigh and I don't smile at their dry jokes.
