  5. No matter what, yoruba films make more meaning and mirror real life situations more than the average nollywood English Genre! For us who do not speak the language, pls subtitles must be accurate! It can be done!Maybe with time we could progress to verbal interpretations like those endless Telenovellas from mexico and Brazil.I mean the likes of Palloma,Lady of the Rose etc.Signed:Wide eyed!

    1. Very well said! Coming from a non yoruba, u are very generous with ur commendations. I have always said the same thing lately. Am yoruba tho, but I find their plots more genuine and relative. Err..but for the proper English translation bit, blunders galore. Me thinks, just like they have the make up artistes etc. There should be a proper institution for that purpose. That way people know who to lash if there are any blunders in their movies. I think it'll work.

  11. SDK, pls tell this Yoruba actors to stop the nonsense Part 1 and 2 fraudulent movies. I am a die hard fan. But lately, all the movies have part 1 and 2. The 2 is not even necessary but half of the movie is used for adverts. Not fair at all. Haba. E beru Oloun. If disc one is 30min, preview/coming soon don take 20min. I am seriously getting pissed. Now they will start shouting about piracy. Pls stop the fraudulent act. Odunade, pls take note. God will bless ur hursle but we want value for money. Pls.

  13. Kudos to Nollywood. I buy every 2 weeks, strictly Yoruba movies though. But pls make your story or stories into just one Part even if you have to mark up the price. Stop the 1 and 2 thing. We want value for money. Not previews.
