It is true! Nigerian Army soldiers that were mandated to serve for 6 months in Sudan have had their mission extended while their families are stressed up and cash strapped. They signed 6 months cheques for their families because that was what they were told. However, they have been there for 11 months+ (NIBATT 34) and 10 months+ (NIBATT 36). Meanwhile, the army leadership is foot dragging.
ReplyDeleteAnd we wonder why we can't get our police , army and soldiers to serve us with her heart n might like those of d western world!!!

ReplyDeleteStella don't get involved with the military biko, besides why will they sign jst 6 month cheque for their families trust me some soldiers are irresponsible.its not new and its not the first time that they extend their stays on operations it depends on d situation so why not keep an icase cheque too cos the military will pay them every month even if they are away.and they get paid over there too. Besides there are soldiers on standby now waiting to go change them so get ur facts straigt dear
ReplyDeleteStella is a journalist and is allowed to say anything. Infact, I follow this blog(though I might not comment) because of her bluntness.. I hope the military looks into this asap.

ReplyDeleteCommenter #5. Take a good look at your statement again 'Stella, don't get involved with the military'. So if bad thing dey happen make person just stand by dey look? I swear, you are wicked, useless, foolish and selfish. Who knows, since this is an anonymous platform; you could be one of the thieves profiteering from the misery of the soldiers. Have a heart and get a life while you are it!
