'My Oga At The Top' Mr Shem Obafaye Re-posted To Oyo State.

Remember The former Lagos State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Mr. Shem Obafaye?

Okay in case you dont -----His ordeal started when he was asked during the interview the NSCDC website and he said:
''Errmmm the website is, excuse me, my Oga at the top knows the website”.

He again, cleared his throat and said:

“My Oga at the top is working on the website and I don’t have them”.

When the presenters insisted that he gives them a functioning website address of the para-military outfit, he proudly told them it is : “ww.nscdc that’s all”

The interview went viral and has become so popular that t-shirts with “my oga at the top” insignia were produced and sold like  across the country. DJs and musicians also did what they called ‘a remix’ of the phrase everyone has coined the phrase 'my oga at the top' when referring to God

It also went viral that Mr Shem had been shamed out of office,NSCDC released a statement denying sacking Mr Shem and the story died down.

Well Mr Shem has just been posted out of Lagos to Oyo state and he has resumed duty.
he was relaced by one Mr  Adesuyi Clement from Oyo State Command and Mr Shem has resumed duty in Mr Adesuyi's post.
In a telephone conversation with Vanguard, Obafaye promised to discharge his duties with every sense of responsibility. ”I am determined to serve in Oyo State and I know God will help me,”

Congrats Mr Shem,May God see you through in Oyo state

  1. Let's help each other by sharing our Us visa experiences, the pain we went through, questions asked during the interview, documents needed, pain of hearing the words "sorry your visa has been denied" or joy in hearing the words "congratulation your visa has been approved " and general help for people intending to apply for one. share on http://usimmigrationdiary.blogspot.sg/

  4. I nominate this man as MAN OF THE YEAR 2013. I think he exposed something about our system which was unfortunately lost as we all made a joke out of it. For all its worth, Honor this guy with an off shore course. I admire his courage and strength also.

It was so unfortunate that he got caught on National/International TV and has been embarrassed for this long!!! We disgrace Ignorance but embrace Corruption?!!! Naija, I truly hail thee!!!

  15. The most annoying part is,channels still use the video as advert for their realtime news.

  16. Interesting man.
I still choose to see this whole "oga @ d top" saga differently, in a way that goes TO SHOW how Awesome God really is.

As we differ, so do our fate/destiny differ, no two people share the same.
we attain heights differently, as we differ, so do our paths differ.....
some find happiness/bcome famous/gain wealth just by being themselves, to others it comes on a platter of gold, most people work so so so hard to get there
while others are have to go through very embarrassing situations to get to where they should be etc. its quite complicated.

Anyhoo... lets see how this story turns out.

I admire his strength and courage though.

  17. He should not grant any interview ooooo. I don talk my own. There is anything annoying about Channels TV using my Oga at the top video as advert, it's part of the archives. Na your papa Abi? @ #25.
