Are Nigerians Suffering From ''Sophisticated Ignorance''?

Reuben Abati,Special Adviser to President Jonathan went live on Air on Channels TV yesterday Saturday March 16,2013 to talk about the State pardon granted to some dishonoured Nigerians recently.

Reuben took Nigerians to the cleaners when he said ''Nigerians are suffering from sophisticated ignorance......''

Do you agree with his School of thought´? Are you sophisticated and ignorant?

A lot of people feel that Reuben is over doing his job, they say all the people in government he used to call out and take to the cleaners, because he is now working for GEJ,he is licking their asses.....I do not agree with this,i just think that Reuben should channel his energy towards something else,he seems to be fighting Nigerians on behalf of Aso rock, yes he is paid to defend the President and he is doing it well but.................I feel pained he used  such strong words on us......arent we allowed the same freedom of speech and expression he had when he was a writer?

I love Reuben ,I love the way he thinks, the way he writes, the way he smiles and argues but I disagree with his use of words on this one..he went overboard and Nigerians deserve an apology........we go wait tire ?

  2. We deserve all the verbal bashing we get from those in authority, we have become a complacent lot whose eventual reaction to the ills of the society are either "God dey", or "God punish dem". Remember this, what ever you keep silent about, you permit and what you permit, you allow.

  3. Alamieyeseigha has shown himself to be a dishonourable fellow, unfit to rule, unfit to sit among men and women of honour and integrity, unfit to preach to the people that he leads about ideals and values." -~ Dr. Reuben Abati, writing in The Guardian on November 25, 2005.
