ReplyDeleteLoving your blog. I live in the UK, so reading your blog kinda keeps me closer to home (gossip wise..lol). I have a favour to ask and I hope you do publish this. The media is a very powerful tool and I hope you also share this with colleagues. Sometime this past week AIT international showed a robbery in progress. Their crew just happen to be on the express road back to their destination (I am not sure which express road as I saw the tail end of the news), they however showed pictures of the robbers and victims. The robbers shot a man dead who also happened to be a policeman in mufti just because he said he had no money. What I I want you to use this powerful tool you have, is to canvass the Nigerian police to ask for the moving pictures from AIT, blow them up and distribute to all media houses, print, tv and internet. Someone will recognise the robbers and they can be arrested. This will be a detterent to others. Afterall the person killed was a policeman, and if they are not doing anything, what will happen if its just an ordinary citizen? Please Stella publish this and share as this can help save another life. I have not been able to sleep since I saw that video on Tv. Also it brings back memories of how many sister's husband was shot dead @ ijeshatedo in lagos, leaving her with fours young kids to take care of. What I am saying is it can happen to anyone we know, so let's make this ones scape goats. Thanks Stella for listening to my rant. Tope B.
