Billionaire daughter DJ cuppy has talked about her new life in Christ, and how she was successful by worldly standards but was empty inside and that having sought Jesus, the empty holes were filled and she doesn’t feel empty anymore.

She said

“To be a follower of Christ means death of self, if I think about the thing I am most grateful for. It is actually self-awareness. I feel like I have changed so much as a person because I have decided to change as a person and the reason I am grateful for self-awareness is that the worst thing is not being in a situation but the worst thing is realizing you are actually in one.

When I look at myself in the past, I actually cannot believe how successful I was on worldly terms but how empty I felt inside. Honestly, I am so thankful that I realized not only I was empty but what I needed to feel those holes. The world can be so confusing.

I am starting to realize that when we try to be logical and reason with things it makes us have less faith. Faith is not tangible. The bible says in proverbs chapter 3vs5 trust the lord with all your heart lean not on your own understanding. To be a follower of Christ means death of self you have to let yourself go and you need to stop trying to understand romans 4:2-12 says do not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.
