Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert focused on the Lake Chad region, disclosed this in a post on his X handle.
Zarah, a 300-level student, was taken from her home in the Damba area of Gusau in the early hours of Sunday, November 3, 2024, by armed bandits.
Makama stated that the kidnappers initially demanded N35 million for their release, but after negotiations, they agreed to accept N10 million.
However, after receiving the ransom, the abductors refused to release Zarah, instead demanding four motorcycles (Boza) and four cartons of engine oil before setting them free.
After months of efforts to meet the demands, the items were finally secured. When the kidnappers’ leader was informed, he contacted his men, who then revealed that Zarah had already died and had been buried two days earlier.
The deceased, the only daughter of her mother, had spent four months in captivity before her untimely death.

May her soul rest in peace.
Romans 13 says the powers that be are ordained by God, they are ministers of God to execute judgment on evil doers. In other words, God ordains government to protect lives and property. And they will give account to God. How can some kidnappers and bandits be operating freely where there is government. The government is complicit in what is going on. It is as simple as that.
ReplyDeleteSad!
ReplyDeleteWhat do they do with all the millions they collect?
Oh Allah, pls release your judgement on these people.
And when this heartless fellows are caught, Nigeria government will rehabitate them aka repentant boko Haram/bandits/herdsmen

They go don rape her to death, useless fools. I don’t know why they can’t implement a law in northern part of this country to curb how they multiply like ants, they keep breeding kids they can’t train/carter for, these kids are left on their own from childhood, this is the end result now, they’re increasing everyday in this evil, they have more than enough to recruit. Imagine parting with that kind of money and still lose their daughter. An injustice to one is to all, Federal government should better be serious about this banditry, don’t forgive anyone that associates with them no matter who it may be.
ReplyDeleteWickedness everywhere
ReplyDeleteRest on beautiful
