PINKYS CORNER
There is a school just opposite my house that is managed by an Igbo lady but not funded by her. The proprietress of the school is based in lagos and has another big school in lagos. So, it's kinda difficult for her to manage the two schools. So, she decided to entrust it to this other Lady.... You won't even know they are not related. The Proprietress has not been to the school for once since Aunty A  took over the management of the school.

Recently, I noticed have not been seeing her and I had to ask someone yesterday. I was told she ran away because the school owner came the week the schools are to resume after Christmas and new year break.

 She was asked to come give breakdown of how things had been going and also the school fees paid into her account for good four years. She promised to get back to the school owner at the hotel she lodged but up till today, Aunty is no where to be found.

 The school was forced to bring in someone from Lagos to take over. I heard also that, she isn't ready to push the matter. She has decided to let go and not bother herself about anything she absconded with.

It's so unfortunate that,some people are not trustworthy. No matter how nice you treat them,they will always show their true bad color. This lady was also given an apartment in the school to make things easier for her but she misused the opportunity because of greed. This is the same problem i face all the time with both market women/men and some customers. We are after fast money. We don't want to follow the process at all. 

Now in Ibadan, if you are not careful, you will buy expired product without knowing. What they do now is scratch the Best Before label or look for ways to reprint in order to change the date. It's so annoying that, you find it difficult to trust even your friend.

Na wah ooooooooooooo.... That reprinting of expiry date is done here by Africans in the shops they sell African food items...Once the German Authorities find out or someone tips them off...They go to the shop with a big container and empty all the freezers and items in the shop into the container and take them to the trash.....An African shop just recently reopened with new items after they emptied her shop and closed it for months........If you do it, you keep losing money but them no dey hear........Anytime i go there or to any of the Shops that sell Nigerian foodstuff, i try to read the expiry date and once i see it shining, i know its a reprint....That wayo Nigerians carry am waka enter abroad oh....

As for the lady that ran, nah wah, she should keep running, na she lose

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

In the last few weeks, I have felt like a fish out of water gasping for air. So many things are happening around me at the same time. Every single time, I feel like I have finally figured things out or finally have a working routine. Something comes up and just throws my plans out of the window.

Motherhood is the toughest thing I have done in my life...

my little princess is showing avid interest in her environment and is running around more, the number of “silence is golden moments” I have had in the last few weeks is crazy. She wants to touch everything.
She has figured out how to open the bathroom taps and is always trying to sneak off to play with the water or toilet bowl, so I am watching her like a hawk.

Her brothers weren’t this interested in their environment this early. I am always running around chasing her, and I find myself shouting more.
It looks like all I say all day is “stop!, don’t !, leave that place! " Why!! And kai!!.
Now she has started the hitting phase, and I am trying hard to stop her doing that because for some weird reason, she thinks the best way to wake me up is to smack my eyes.
Nobody around us does that, so I don’t know why she started it, but I am working on it.
Anyway I am tired and frazzled, and I need a hug.

KAI!!!!!...Just reading what you wrote almost made me cry but dont worry, it will get better...Looks like her brothers are calmer now....Why is she not running with them? Anyway, please come here for a hug....
