ReplyDeleteI was coming to type something along the same vein. While I am not into structure analysis to know about the cement, we must sit and talk about all the unexplained fires, explosions and destruction that seems to happen all too frequently to buildings in Nigeria. Explosion from where, how? Let's have a mindset of doing proper investigations and not just lean to the 'spiritual' in everything. From bad gas setups, to poor foundations and paying off ppl to get permits for building on land and in zones that are not fit for construction. Having a safety first mindset in everything that is done must be pushed. Now this entire structure just poof like that and all ppl care about is saying village ppl. It could very well be bad cement and blocks or not enough support to hold up the structure. There are buildings on the planet that are thousands and hundreds of years old and they are still standing, so why these new structures have no longevity.
