PINKYS CORNER
What a shame.
We had an appointment at Abeokuta yesterday and we have to leave Ibadan as early as possible but one thing led to another, we left late. We got to the park and occupied the front sit. An elderly man who should be in his late 60s came into the bus also with his wife(an Alhaji whom I'm sure would be a cleric).

It was set time to move after the park boys had collected money from everyone. Immediately the bus left the park, an elderly woman prayed for journey mercy and after that, she began to preach. But to our surprise, the elderly man began to criticize all her words. Infact, I was really ashamed of that man. The preacher was so smart and wise. She didn't even stop nor give response to what he was saying. When she was done, this man still continued to explain to the man beside him saying "it's wrong preaching or forcing your religion on people" the woman said "Jesus is the son of God and no one comes to the father except through him". The man shouted "it's a lie".

We got to Abeokuta and I walked straight to the woman, greeted her and appreciated her manners. You see ehn, Nigeria as a complex whole has really made it difficult to be united. We have being captured by religion. You see some Christians speaking ill about Muslims vis a vis . This is bad and it's really affecting us. Any country that is complex in nature would find it difficult to develop because, every tribe, religion and region would want to do things for their own selfish interest and not for the development of the country itself.

If you like, go to mecca 100 times or Jerusalem 500times, that doesn't make you a heavenly candidate. Infact, you might later be punished just because you failed to assist your fellow human. You go to mecca and come back to start taking alcohol or start doing bad things to people or you go to Jerusalem and you come back to dupe people, have sex with your church members and all sorts of things and you say you are serving God.

Let' learn to tolerate ourselves. I remember, when I was growing up at Obalende. We will go to mosque with our friends, fast, and do things together. They too will attend church programs with us. Till now, their parents never discriminate. They are of the idea that, no one knows what will happen after death and the greatest religion is tolerance, love and brotherly kindness. I wonder what our religious leaders are turning to. I'm not sorry to say, the Yorubas are the worse have ever seen in my life. You meet them in the north and you need help, they turn you down and pretend not to be your tribe. You meet them down here and they begin to fight you because you don't serve the same God as explained by them. You do the same business, they find a way of killing you. So gullible and wicked compared to the Igbos or hausas.

Argue with your keypad. I repeat, I'm not sorry to say because have had several experiences with them and with the Igbos and hausas. The different is clear.

Ire ooooo

You came down from the Bus and went to her? Nna na wah ooooooo, you no dey fear at all.....

MUST READ
When you see two young teenagers falling in love, it is your duty as an adult to talk to them. Most of the time they don't have sense of their own; you have to lend them yours.

Immediately after my WAEC, I went for computer training in one of these road side computer schools at GOAD COMPUTER CENTER, now Computer Net Power Limited, (CEO -Omoniyi)

There's this girl, Charity, an O' Level graduate, who was also taking the training.

After each training we'd stay behind and learn on our own.
As Charity and I familiarized with each other, we fell in love
The guy who was tutoring us, Uncle Sam, was in his final year in the university at that time.
One fateful day, Uncle Sam called me and said something that I'd never forget.

This was what he said, word for word:

"Babatunde! Being in a serious relationship with an opposite sex at this age is not a good idea. You have a great future, one mistake and you'd spend the rest of your life paying for it."

The computer training center had two branches. Uncle Sam went to the extent of writing a transfer letter for me to move to the other center. He said I wouldn't concentrate if I was seeing Charity everyday.

I bless the day I met Uncle Sam. People like him are not up to ten on this planet.

The following day I called Charity and told her I needed some space.
She tried to reach me for a while but all thanks to Uncle Samuel, I was able to put her away
Whenever we meet we'd just give each other a 'Hi, how far' greeting.

Today I stumbled on her pre-wedding photos.
By December she's getting married to Uncle Sam
Uncle Sam, you will not know peace

  9. God really does show mercy to who he will show mercy.

Yesterday, I found at something a church member went through. Her son and two of his friends were walking home from school. They saw like an icy place and kids na, went to play on it. This boy should be 6 or 7. Unfortunately, the ice broke and he fell inside the water, totally covered up. One of the kids ran home to call his dad who happened to be a firefighter and the man rushed to the scene and had to use some equipment to locate him under the icy water. The boy was almost lifeless when they brought him out. CPR did nothing to resuscitate him.

He was eventually airlifted to the hospital. Doctor told his parents that there’s really nothing they can do and that he would not survive it. The mother of course went into prayers with the prayer committee. Boy was in ICU for a month, he was in church yesterday and didn’t look anything like someone that just went through such ordeal. The mum showed me the picture of him in ICU and it’s not a sight any parent should ever have to see.

She said, after he got better, the doctors thanked the son for giving them a reason to believe all hope is not lost in cases like his.

We know this one is nothing short of a miracle and I’m glad it’s not a case where I will go and be telling his mother to take heart.

      It's now 1-1.

I hope SDK does not enable any insult against her from you, maybe you will learn to stop going under people's comments to insult them when they air their opinion without insulting anyone on a post here.
You have been doing this for years, that nonsense should stop this year.

    5. Dante which response are you searching for?
Didn't you warn bvs not to come under you uninvited and insult you? So why do you normally go under bvs and insult them for having a different opinion apart from your warped ones?
SDK has enabled you for too long, she deletes replies to you after you must have insulted someone first. She did it to an older friend who is in her 50s and comments in anonymous mode on Chronicles. She was very angry but had to forgive SDK because of her love for her, she however stopped commenting on the blog. Because of you rascal.

The king of pop suffered serious burns when pyrotechnics ignited His hair, Leaving him reliant on the pain killers with contributed to his early death years later. Michael Jackson was rushed to hospital in Los Angeles on January 27 1984 after being set on fire during the filming of a Pepsi commercial.

Michael suffered second and third degrees burn to his face scalp which led to the overdose of medication in his life πŸ”₯ He didn't realise his hair was on fire he continued performing briefly then hurried to the set where he was pushed to ground and extinguished by stage hands and his brothers. His wounds were treated and he was given series of pain killers and prescribed powerful sedatives to calm his nerves and help him sleep.

Pepsi settled out of court with Jackson, and the performer donated the $1.5 million payment to the Brotman Medical Center; its Michael Jackson Burn Center was subsequently named in his honor. No hard feelings, though: Jackson later signed another deal with Pepsi, this time for $10 πŸ’Έ
