DeleteSibling rivalry is a touchy topic that we are not ready for. Watching videos of the Afolayan's reconciling after 40years according to Aremu is so emotional. The woman must have done everything possible to settle them while alive.
ReplyDeleteSome parents foster this rivalry and hatred between siblings knowingly or unknowingly. My mom's late friend will move from one prophet to another prophetess checking the future of her kids, telling her one child is a 'star' and will start saying it to their hearing. Showing it in attitude knowing or unknowingly. So the other kids are moon abi stone, then enmity between siblings will start.
Some parents train up their kids in loving one another but there are some who just choose to be jealous no matter the equality and love their parents give. Well, it has been a thing since bible times, Cain was one of the pioneer. May God continue to give us parents wisdom to build a healthy and loving home front 🙏

Infact one of my big cousins would say, they have their life to live and she won't be a part of that and whenever we cousins hear anything about each other that isn't true, we should speak up and confront the person, so there is no back talk because they will ask you to come and say it in front of the person.

Early this month, I bought a 6kg gas cylinder as to serve as a backup to my main gas. My eider sister told me to remove the air inside before filling it been a new cylinder. So last week I decided to buy 3kg worth of gas. I told the lady selling it's a new cylinder. She should remove the air. She did that so fast and I wouldn't know if she did it properly as she told me the cylinder is now empty.
ReplyDeleteI had used the gas not more than five times and was disappointed last night I came back to make soup and there was no gas. I only cooked soup once. The other three or four times was Noddles twice and water for tea and Pap. So why would 3kg gas finished that fast? My main gas I can use 3kg for three weeks or more as I don't cook all the time.
Is it that she didn't remove the air or she sold air to me.
Thank God I saw where I filled the cylinder early this morning. Was parboiling the meat and stockfish last night before the gas went off. I had to pack them for this morning.
Let me get back to kitchen and continue from where I stopped last night. Making Egusi soup with Onuigbo. I love swallow on Sundays and can't explain..
