Man Announces Cancellation Of His Wedding Due To Genotype Incompatibility

This is sad but it has no way forward...A lot of üpeople are blinded by love instead of walking away from genotype incompatibility situations......
The only people who can stay together despite genotype ish, are those who have no intention of having kids together.....

  4. It's better oo. But they should have done the test before the invitation card. I already knew I was AA right from birth. I knew I can marry any genotype

  9. The best thing they have both done for themselves because I know a family member who is suffering from having to deal with a SS child.
They are divorced after 7 years of marriage with a sick child to cater for.

How many lives/relationship this wrench had wretched terrifies me and I hope that next generation scientists find a cure and complete eradication.

    1. There are ways about it but we are not ready for the conversation, financial and the religious angle to the options available makes people to opt out but few people that could do the procedure continued with the marriage.

      It is well.

  17. Genotype incompatibility is a significant issue that should be addressed before marriage to prevent lifelong challenges. While breaking up or canceling a wedding is painful, it’s often the wisest and most compassionate decision for both individuals and their potential children.

A marriage built on love can face immense strain when confronted with the emotional, physical, and financial toll of managing chronic illnesses like sickle cell disease. Watching children suffer, coupled with unending hospital visits and medical bills, can erode the love and peace in a relationship.

Taking the responsible step to prioritize health and future well-being demonstrates maturity and foresight. It’s a difficult choice, but one that spares both parties and their potential children from prolonged anguish. Love and compatibility must go hand in hand with practical considerations like health for a sustainable and joyful union.

  23. How do even print a wedding card before knowing your genotype, what where you doing with your time during courtship?

This is sad, but it's better to end things now than be filled with regrets later in the future.
