ReplyDeleteNigerian marriage favour men most, women will carry pregnancy, take care of the children, the house and still expected to support the husband financially.
It favors men more,

I feel like it favours the both, maybe 60:40

ReplyDeleteBoth of them, at early stage, it's favor the man, name changes, children bearing his name, the woman carrying the pregnancy and taking care of the house but later the woman benefits more than the man. The children takes care of their mother than their dad. Pls it's my opinion.

ReplyDeleteThis question should be case-based. If you got more value from the union, then it favoured you. In some unions, the women got more value, whereas in some cases, the men got more value.
ReplyDeleteAlways the man. He gets a free cook, cleaner, bed mate, mother to his children, in addition to free emotional and social labour.
