God please see her through
ReplyDeleteWhen you choose to marry people without empathy, you won’t believe what they would do to you when the time comes. Kora Obidi comes to mind.
DeleteOh Lord!
ReplyDeletePlease intervene.
E-hugs and kisses to you and those cuties.
Stella na one of your solid bvs.
Reach out to her.
I pray God shows up for you
ReplyDeleteGod will see you through ๐๐ฟ
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteYou are in a country that works. He would need to prove you are mentally sick or on drugs.
I’ll wait to hear from him before taking sides.
This marriage thing is very complicated
Very very complicated annon๐คฆ.
DeleteGod will show up for you Karen, please stay strong ๐ช.
19:07,
DeleteYou are clearly naive or not exposed.
thats very insensitive. Wicked even. This is exactly how caucasian men do it. Ruthy Milano, Korra etc. The men emotionally abuse you and when you explode record it, gaslight you. Use any signs of post natal depression to file a case. I hope you'll never have to go through this. Who asked you to take sides? Empathy is free.
Delete21:13
DeleteTrue?
Why do they all get so praised and used as the yardstick for trashing Naija men on this blog?
The way one or two male bvs use oyibo women in measuring Naija women here?
Here to learn.
How is an explosion shouting or argument equal to mental illness???. Post natal depression is a mental illness. If she hasn’t recovered, she needs treatment and not fighting . If you have seen or had post natal depression you would understand.
DeleteGranted, yes I shouldn’t take sides and I’m sorry she’s passing through this. But this up there is not enough to vilify her husband as you’re subtly insinuating with your examples. If he’s otherwise, that’s a different ball game. But this write up isn’t enough. I wish them both well. Divorce is never easy on either party, especially the kids.
Anon 21:01; you wish.
Women gather and assist Karen Igho.
DeleteFather Show her Mercy ooo
ReplyDeleteGuide and Protect her๐๐
Hello iya Boys
Oh dear......this is a serious cry for help , may help come soonest for you & your kids Karen ๐๐ฅบ
ReplyDeleteI hope she is safe, glad she spoke out. Pls Nigerians as you japa and go to foreign climates speak out whenever you feel your life is in danger. Forget shame and speak out. Just watching Prison Break the scene where the company wanted to kill Sara Tancredi and frame it as suicide. The moment she suspected their plans, she broke things in the room and scattered everywhere so that the evidence will show there was a struggle/fight and that she did not kill herself.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad. May she come out of this in Jesus name
ReplyDeleteMay God see her through.
ReplyDeleteMy God, Please protect this woman and grant her mercy and favor.
ReplyDeleteOh dear
ReplyDeleteMercy speak for her
ReplyDeleteWow. So sorry
ReplyDeleteThis is serious
ReplyDeleteMay God intervene.
God pls come through for your daughter.
ReplyDeleteMarrying oyinbo is full of lots of challenges. They sexually adventurous, and no moral compass when it comes to anything sex just like dogs. But most time we feel they have the best culture, but if you looked deeply it can be really scary, they would just used you and dumped you regardless. And don't forget the dynamic of their colour can work against you in their country. Because oyinbo are very prejudice when it comes to their own people. The reason we get jobs here is that, you get the jobs they don't really want, if they want the job and you are there, omo by style you will have problems and they would remove you and you would be lucky to even leave without trouble. In this life there is no place like home. Wahala aye yi ti po ju.
ReplyDeletePlease dont generalise this...I am not in this situation and wil never be in Jesus name
DeleteOyibo? Or are you writing about Nigerian men?
DeleteNigerian men not the worse on this s3x issue as the women here say?
Truly each day, new light.
This has to be said, stop generalizing please, seriously. The experience of one, two or many doesn't define that of all. I was married to an Oyinbo (man). We got divorced without all the issues you mentioned (I walked away from the marriage because it wasn't working and we both deserve to be happy). My income was not even 20% of his, and I was all alone in the country, at the time. He didn't use all the opportunities or advantages he had to frustrate me, even with all my wahala. He and his sibling and sibling's in-law helped me with moving years after our separation, he was/is supportive, respective despite the devasting effect of our divorce on him. I wish I was as wise then, as I am now and get him to be part of the successes I appreciate God for today. But, I celebrate his honesty, support and values, all the same. I know there are unfortunate incidents happening between some biracial couples out there, but it's not the reality for everyone.
DeleteOh God show up for her.
ReplyDeleteAbroad life is not easy, not to talk of marrying a white man for paper. Those of you in Nigeria don’t know how blessed you are. The quest to japa is not for the fair hearted. Abroad is just good for holidays not to live permanently. If you know, you know. May God see Karen through.
ReplyDeleteAbeg how did she marry him for papers? There are so many happy and flourishing marriages abroad so if you have nothing relevant to say don't cast aspersions. Thanks ๐๐ฝ
DeleteSpeak for yourself against all odd abroad is a nice place to live yes there are racism so it depends if not anything at least basic amenities day just pay your bills you will be fine. Even in Nigeria we have tribal racism.you provide your own basics amenities
DeleteOyibo marriages are full of challenges for black people because they are self hating and see the white person as a celestial being. Black people develop a sense of superiority to their own people when they are hitched to a Caucasian.
DeleteDevelop your land and marry your own kind. Peace will overwhelm you.
DeleteAnon 21:09 how did the conversation shift to “ abroad life… if you know you know”…, etc? I live in the US & I’m grateful to God that I can live in a home better than those in Eko Atlantic without looting from my fellow humans, drive the best cars without cheating or doing evil. Yes, I work 40 hours at a very good job like all my family, something that we all may never get in Nigeria without connection or looting/cheating.
DeleteIt seems working and paying bills, to maintain infrastructure, the very reason diaspora appeals to many for vacations is what many do not like about living in the west. God says “whoever does not work should not eat”. The day Nigeria works, there will be taxation & bills like the west but there will be accountability by politicians, consequences & jail terms with restitution for looting and NO cheap labor to form oga & madam at the expense of the masses by those who are not even half as rich as the upper middle class here. There will be nobody’s kid to use as maid (all kids must be in school up to K12, keep them home and go to jail), nobody’s husband to use as driver to stay in the car in the hot sun for peanuts etc as all labor will no longer be below living wage. Most ๐ณ๐ฌs pay lip service to wanting a better Nigeria because all western countries have hard-work and high taxation plus infrastructure that works & is available to most, in common. A cleaning maid makes $200 for 8 hours of cleaning, excluding laundry. A personal chauffeur makes about $100k/year so all these “money na water” mentality will stop when everyone works and EARNS a living instead of looting. Notice your music celebs like David drive when here! They don’t keep personal drivers or use taxpayer funded security but private companies!
Finally marriages between Nigerians of the same tribe break sometimes, it has little to do with race and like I heard Ali baba first say, “it’s not the first to call the cops that wins a case or is right”. There are three sides to a story. May God help her, deliver her and show her mercy in Jesus name. I don’t know which country she is in but ๐บ๐ธ dies not run on emotion but verified facts.
I do hope some of Y'all can appreciate Nigerian Men?? See finish is the reason Y'all disrespect Nigerian men. . May God come through for you Karen.
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteMouths don change to no generalize, no generalize
Yet we generalize Nigerian men
Even the one wey say her husband good we been first dey tell am say na lie, na lie
Dibia Arusi na greed dey cause am no be see finish.
DeleteLord please hear her cry

ReplyDeleteLady T rally sisters to help Karen. #womenhelpingwomen
DeleteShe will not die on account of this problem. Send her help from zion. In Jesus name Amen
ReplyDeleteProblems with oyinbo marriages, some don't understand how slavery came about, there is no common ground unless if he is born again. They see black people as sex slaves especially the women. It is well with you Karen. Racism is everywhere and the white is understood before the black in thier country even in Naija.
ReplyDeleteWhat did your ancestors who sold and kept slaves see black people as? How many European countries has black slaves? How many of the families in those countries could afford a single slave? How many where enslaved despite being white people?
DeleteHalf education is dangerous.
That's why our colonial masters never apologised for the slave trade they started. Racism is everywhere some a subtle some are pronounced
DeleteOur women are greedy that is why they fall prey to Caucasian marriage fraud.
DeleteI pray that God will send you help speedily. No human deserve to go thru such experience.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Karen, may help come your way. This is her speaking up for those who will say she kept quiet. Those close to her should reach out before It results to something else
ReplyDeleteMay you get the needed help Karen.
