Friday Night Post

 Today na today.....

We come in here to round up the day with gisting on Friday night........ Any correct gist?

  1. Early in the morning today within the hours of 5:30am, I left my house to see someone before he travels for a business trip. On my way going to his place which wasn't far from mine, I saw a sacrifice dropped on the roadside with an egg(fresh) on it and then N200. I had to shift and walked past. While returning in less than five minutes I had just past that route, I saw a man coming from that direction. He was cleaning a note on his hand. I said to myself this man might have picked up that money.

Immediately I passed there, I didn't see the money and I was shocked. Yes there's hungry in the country but picking a thing as such is beyond what I will encourage or support anyone to do. What's even N200 to start with? Did he know what was done on the sacrifice? This is how people bring upon themselves strange happenings and initiation or even exchange their star.

I heard some people even eat those sacrificed food/fruits. Very strange I must say.

One thing I can never do is to pick money on the roadside. Why should I do that? I have walked past a thousand naira note and sometimes five hundred naira which the owner mistakenly misplaced and you'll never see me bend to pick it. I was raised never to take what doesn't belong to me and I grew up holding unto this tenets. This I'll also instil on my children.

Already out and chilling. It's cold out here. I pray it won't rain before I get back home.

    2. Not too late. This is the right time if you want it for personal use. If it's for commercial it's too early because feeds are too expensive to rear chicken for 3 months.

    3. Not at all, but I'll suggest you don't buy day old, you can go for 3 weeks own

  10. When I saw sun coming out as early as 8am, I knew it would end with rain. It's been heavy downpour since afternoon till now as if we are in April.

Was at the market today and I must say the way it was scanty is scary. A lady's phone was stolen at the market without her knowledge, after picking clothes then time to transfer, she started looking for her phone. People are now desperate.

I have eaten vegetables with rice and we are watching bluey, will finish my tasks before joining hallelujah challenge.

  17. One day, we lost a colleague of ours....

Everybody was summoned, as the speaker addressed other employees who were sobbing... "A minute silence to honour her.." he said...

In less than 30seconds, he said May her soul Rest in Peace, Amen. U can all go back to work...

Then I asked my boss, "Sir, who will clear her table and do all she was doing?

He smiled and said, "someone will resume with us next week to take her place...."

I used to think I was irreplaceable but this has thought me that if I were d one who died, someone else would resume to clear d files.

    Hmmmmmmmmm!

To those who shout at people at work and make them feel irrelevant, be Careful you're just a colleague.

    - To those who act in church like without them things can't be done properly, ask Elijah; God has over 7000 better servants waiting to step in.

    - To all who are so pompous and feel d world revolves round them and should be treated with so much respect they don't give to others.....go ask Nebuchadnezzar; he was disgracefully humbled.

Someday u will go..(Death..Retirement.. Resignation.. Promotion.. Transfer.. Relocation....)

And guess what? Work will continue...

    - Church will wax stronger....

    - Family like water will find its level...

    - Persons/Friends will adjust well in good time...

    - That thing u think cannot be done without u will not die nor suffer.

It is like Military barracks....Soldiers go Soldiers come but Barracks/Military base remain.. Dey might miss ur ideas, But trust me, U ARE Not IRREPLACEABLE

Experience has shown that when your kind/type leaves the system is when greater opportunities open for others.

As a matter of fact they'll not miss ur unpleasant nature but make a mockery of it at their leisure.

Do what u can and let others do theirs.

You're NOT Special than others; it's just a Privilege that you're enjoying.

    Be calm,
    Be submissive
    Be Humble
    Be Reasonable
    Be Accountable
    Be Respectful.

Show Love to others even wen they make mistakes.....

Your nature is what you're remembered for, It is the memory of you that remains with the people.

Bad nature easily overshadows good ones.

Therefore, watch your actions because what we have here is really a small WORLD!

The World is like a Small Garden....take care of ur bit to Glorify God. ...............

    Stay blessed!

His Mother inlaw went for a village meeting, while arguments were going up and down, the woman slumped and was the on the floor for over an hour..

The women at the meeting did not even know how to administer first aid and couldn't even rush her to the clinic. By the time they reached her children who took her to the hospital, she was confirmned as BID. So heartbreaking.

Please teach your old folks even how to administer self first aid before help arrives. It is all over social media.
