ReplyDeleteUnless someone is super close to you do not expect them to know our birthday. Also consider that not everyone cares for celebrating birthdays. A woman with many young children and a career cannot be expected to remember everyone's birthday.
ReplyDeleteI too am getting exhausted with adults expecting birthday calls and gifts and what have you. It feels like competition with the youngsters sometimes. I have enough nieces, nephews and god children's birthdays to consider . If you are over 40 yrs get over it!

If you have someone or people who make a mental note to celebrate you, please celebrate them too.
It is selfishness to say I am the type that doesn't remember anyone's birthday or it is not a big deal..
I know som1 who claims not to remember his own birthday but when people don't wish happy birthday, he starts moaning.
