ReplyDeleteNever had any guy collected my number in a special way but I'll tell a story of how my varsity bestie got her man in a special way.
Year 2006, She went to RCCG redemption camp, and sitting beside her during sermon, on the last day of camp was this tall, dark, broad chested, dark hair, soft spoken guy with the most infectious smile and melainated skin.
According to her, "I couldn't stop staring.
They exchanged few words but the guy never asked for her number, so while they were saying the grace and his eyes was close, she quickly wrote her number in a small paper and put it inside his bible with the inscription,
"Let's hope this doesn't fall off, if you end up seeing this, this is Gloria, the lady who sat beside you in camp, that's my number, call me".
Surprisingly, he called two weeks after. He was in Abuja while she was in Bayelsa.
It's been 18 years and they both have three kids together, waxing stronger till tomorrow. ❤
