DeleteIt takes me time, especially when I have forgiven several times and you then take it for granted. If I notice I will take drastic actions that you will never expect from me and even if I forgive, I can never forget so you won't repeat it again.

ReplyDeleteWhat I do is take care of myself(Block and delete). Once I activate my self care mode, no going back. This fasten my healing process.
I could be civil with such person especially if I don't want anyone to question my principles. But you won't ever get a second chance. Once someone show me how they are, I accept it immediately. There's no point giving so many chances for rubbish.

ReplyDeleteSometimes, I chose to forgive people without getting an apology from them. I've mastered the act of forgiving in silence & then move on afterward in silence.
ReplyDeleteMost people don't always have the maturity or the honesty to apologize for their wrong deed & if you are going to sit & wait for an apology, you'll only hurt yourself the more.
I learned to stop holding grudges on anyone. The more you hold on to what was done to you, the more you will suffer.
Though no one forgets how you made them feel or how wrongly they have been treated. You just have to move on! We only embrace the pains until it hurts no more..
Understand this- When you forgive a wrong done to you, always take the lesson(s) from it. Don't hate anyone. Make sure you don't get too close again to anyone who has hurt you so deeply in the past.
Forgiveness shouldn't become foolishness.
It depends on the offence.

ReplyDeleteSometimes I might not want to forgive but before you know it, I will forget and start gisting with the person, automatically I forgive. I don't hold grudges for long cos it takes away my own peace of mind.
