    This is a true life story. Don't judge me!



    So I've fucked 2 of my cousins and my aunt's husband  and I truly regret it and feel so ashamed. The devil used me. So Last night,  I asked God to forgive me for committing incest and I made a vow never to go back to doing that disgusting act! Is that why I'm single at 27? Chai!

      I am currently saving but I don't know what should be the first/priority ; settling down or MSC. My dad said I can do Masters in my husband house and he gave me one year ultimatum to settle down.

    I left Nigeria at 14.I decided to come back two years ago after graduate school and "do something for my country." Oh God! It's been a roller coaster ride. People act so weird in Nigeria. Like really weird. The men are so badly behaved, disrespectful and uncouth. They are money obsessed and in a very terrible way. The ladies? Gosh! The worse! Almost all of them are marriage obsessed. Even 19 year olds discuss marriage! I'm being serious. Then there's this weird preoccupation with sex. There's always somebody preaching about virginity or abstinence or my favourite "keeping yourself" for heaven knows what.Nobody talks about keeping yourself in terms of healthy diet,exercise,meditation, unwinding when stressed, practising safe sex etc,it's always in relation to avoiding sex and "storing"it till marriage. Adults preventing themselves from fulfilling basic biological urges for absolutely nothing. It must be really stressful having to conform to such restrictions. I always thought that by this time Nigeria would have moved past this hang up around sex and sexual activities and promote safe sex. Some ladies don't even know what the pill is!

    There is the other set of strange ones that equate everything to "evil" and almost always add a tinge of spirituality to everything. Then there are those who sleep and negotiate with men for monetary purposes! Regular working class females. Again everything is so spiritual in Nigeria. Those who have fertility issues would be waiting on an imaginary "divine" intervention instead of reporting to specialists. There's those who don't have jobs and waiting on "divine" intervention without making efforts and there are those who "pray" for spouses without socializing. It's almost like everything is done backwards. The only sin the Nigerian "God" does not forgive is fornication and homosexuality. Every other sin does not count according to Nigeria. It is a known fact that the government is messed up, so I won't even Start on that but the government is a representation of the people and that's exactly what's happened in Nigeria. The country is so driven by patriarchy and debauchery it's fascinates me.

    Nigerians also disrespect people a ton. No preservation of common human dignity. The employers treat the employees disrespectfully and employees don't even have proper work ethics. I don't know anymore really. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good things about Nigeria probably more than the bad but I think it's possible to just have the good alone.
