Five Naira Is Dead (?)

Is it true that 5 Naira can no longer afford anything in Nigeria?

I'm asking because a blog visitor in Lagos told me that he had 5 naira in his wallet and was moving around for a whole week looking for what to buy with it, but it couldn't afford anything and he later had to dispose off the money in the bin. He said even the cheapest sweets or biscuits in the market now goe for 10 naira and above.

Can 5 naira buy anything in your present location or state?

    5naira is dead and buried.
You can't get anything for 5naira.
Even a satchet of klin that used to sell for 25naira is now 30 naira.
I don't even accept two 5naira as change in place of 10naira,i will dash the person.
I liken 5 Naira and Ten Naira notes to witches and wizards.

I went to buy always this morning and it is 400naira from 250naira.
    I'm typing this in fury..
