First Bank Allegedly Sacks 50+ Staff..

Rumour has it that Firstbank made 50+ head office contract staff redundant  two days back.

I confirmed from one of the affected staff, who said they just got a mail to hand over all bank's property in their possession to their employer (Insourcing Ltd)the following day.

Over 50 contract staff in one office, this is ridiculous. No reason was given for rendering them redundant.

  2. Na wa. So who are the banks that signed MOU with FGN on not sacking people. Shame on First Bank. Na my bank ooo. Been banking with them for a very long time.

Let me call my friends and that account officer to find out from them.

Since Buhari stop this Ministries monies from banks, banks cannot stand at all. What a shame.

    5. The fact that banks are dependent on Government and ministries inflow is in itself a problem....
Banks need to expand their sources of income from just deposits and treasury operations like their contemporaries.

  12. First bank, after their Eddy Murphy former boss nearly ruined that bank by given billions of naira in loans to Jimoh Ibrahim, who defaulted. Eddy Murphy was also laundering money for most south south govs.who were rewarding him handsomely. The management forced him to resign last year Dec.when Efcc was on their trail. This bank laundered money for Omisore during the last administration. Na bullion van dey carry Omisores dollars,he doesnt collect naira. They laundered a huge sum of money for a god father in this country through a doc.in Maryland Us. Yawn, abeg he don do.

  14. No reason was given? What other reason are you looking for? I'm definitely not on the side of the bank but my point is, the country is in economic turmoil. Businesses and even individuals are having to cut down expenses to the barest necessary minimum. Businesses are there to thrive, they are never run on sentiments.
This is simply the aftermath of CHANGE. I just pray God keeps the affected ones and their dependants. Its sad indeed.

You alone, beating drum, dancing and singing, contradicting yourself all in the name of commenting, aftermath of change you say, so these people sacked are the cause of the economic turmoil, or their sacking fixes the turmoil, I pray u either loose your job or your business or however u get money, so it can fix the economic turmoil, and when u have to sell that device that has made u daft, let's see if you'll be singing the same song. Moron
