Testimony From TTC Prayer And Fasting #Dec100babies# Post.

OMG....Even i was of little Faith when I did that #December100babies post but today I am humbled that a channel of prayer opened by women who have never met has gotten GOD IN HEAVEN working Miracles...

This all sounds and looks unbelievable but who are we to question how God works?...We have another awesome Testimony from someone who joined her voice!

''Hello Stella,

I'm sorry for the very long post, but I tried in every way to shorten this, and this was the shortest I could come up with.....

My husband and I started trying for a baby last year with the hope that all was fine and that there would be no delays of any sort. We tried and tried for months but nothing was forthcoming, and at some point we began to worry.

We decided to see a doctor, who sent me for a folliculometry scan and sent my husband for a seminal fluid analysis. I went for the scan in November, and the results read - FIBROID AND 2 OVARIAN CYSTS IN THE LEFT OVARY (ENDOMETRIOMA). 

My husband's results came in and although his sperm count was fine, the percentage of his actively motile sperm was 60%. We sent the results to the doctor who said that he'll monitor us for a while and then redo the scans before he can make any conclusions.

We continued trying and trying, but my period refused to go away; infact it was like the menstrual cramps increased and I noticed my periods started coming earlier than schedule (I have irregular periods).

Sometime in December, my doctor asked me to go for another scan (PELVIC ULTASOUND SCAN) which I did, and then again the results came back scary. it read 'LEFT DERMOID CYST and UTERINE LEIOMYOMATA". This time around I cried and cried till I could cry no more. I never forget the words the doctor said to me, he said "YOU NEED TO INTENSIFY SEX WITH YOUR HUSBAND AND GET PREGNANT QUICK BECAUSE THE FIBROIDS ARE IN A VERY SENSITIVE POSITION, AND IF KEEPS GROWING, IT MAY HINDER CONCEPTION"

I got home that day and decided that I was done fighting this battle alone, and that we would commit everything to God and trust that he would do it. My husband and I started fasting once every week and we prayed by 12am every night (My husband was also having issues at work, he was due for promotion but his MD denied him promotion while others were promoted last year).

My next menstrual period came on 27th December 2015 and then the doctor decided to place us on medication. he prescribed addyzoa for my husband for 3 months and placed me on Clomid for 2 menstrual cycles (December and January).

Clomid was supposed to boost my eggs and ovulation, but it did the reverse. It dried up my cervical mucus and gave me the worst cramps ever, to the extent that sex with was so painful because I was always dry down there.

By my next period in February, I told the doctor that I am not taking any drugs again cos I needed my body to breathe and get over all the side effects of the clomid I took. I was tired and stressed out with all that medical jargons. We continued praying to God and infact I was asking God for twins.

Sometime in march, I saw the TTC fasting and prayer post, I told my husband about it and he agreed to join me. We did the fast and prayers for 2 days and handed everything to God. Coincidentally, the TTC Fast fell during my march menstrual period and I remember on the last day of my period, I made a statement saying ''God this is the last pad I will change this year", I smiled and said amen. On April 1st my doctor booked me for a hormonal profile test which I did and asked me to come back during my next period, so that he can book me for a HSG; so as to ascertain if I had blocked tubes. The doctor wanted to run all possible tests, so that he could know what else we had to deal with asides the fibroids and cysts.

Stella, I haven't gone back to the doctor since my last visit on the 1st of April because I missed my period in April and I have been CONFIRMED PREGNANT today (exactly a week to our wedding anniversary).

I'm sorry for this lengthy post (I even had to cut off some details) but I just want to encourage all BVs who are TTC not to give up, the fact that it hasn't happened doesn't mean it won't/can't happen. Please hold on to God and let him take the lead. Even as you go for medicals, do not panic but rather commit everything to God and he will show you that he is God over every situation.

P.s - My husband also got his promotion in march this year, the same promotion which he was denied last year. Indeed God is awesome!!!
