Godwin was with his three children and wife when this sad event happened.....As he felt the blood gushing down his cheeks,he heard his kids screaming ''Mummy is dead!''

He ran to his wife's side and she gushing blood as well.He had heard two shots but did not know that one landed on his jaw and one killed his wife instantly!.

    1. Hope the police man that shot his wife is dead too? They can't just be using the gun meant for criminals for innocent people, just because they refuse to pay bribe. I hate this country

    2. I remember pastor Sam adeyemi of daystar recounting a similar ordeal on independence day service. Of how the woman was rushed to the hospital and she was asked for a police report after she was being shot by the police because her husband didn't give bribe. Of course they got none and the woman eventually died.

    1. May it never be well with the police man that did this to this family. May God revoke his peace this yuletide season. He'd become a living dead for as long as this family exist without their mom. So disheartening

  11. How on earth do those blood thirsty, trigger happy police get recruited? Who is in charge of declaring them fit for the force but in character & learning? Their wanton disregard for lives is really appalling. I am saddened by stories like this, more so by the fact that the officer will walk away unscathed. Useless police men! When they see armed robbers they'll take off their uniform and run for their lives.
May God comfort Godwin Ekpo & his family.

  18. When the man said" my friend died n left me" I couldn't help but tear up. Kilode Nigerians? Why are we our own enemies? Corruption has eaten deep in every sector, organisation, even in church- if u don't have money, you aren't recognized.

Just tell me why people won't steal? When they strive to be seen, to belong In these poverty stricken society of ours where everyone is frustrated. To afford 3square meal is yet another issue, and we are preaching sincerity, how?

However, this change starts from you n i, help ppl when u can, work hard n stop being a liability, stop waiting for the govt, be the change you want. I pray hope is restored to Nigeria.
    God bless us all.

    1. What has happened to the policeman/men,Since the incident? I truly don't know how these horrible evil beings sleep at night, knowing that they too have friends and family out there.

    2. The pain of this man can be likened to that of the incident that happened in festac during the bank robbery. The poor woman and her baby that were in their home but were hit by stray bullet. Imagine the pains the husband will be going through, losing his wife and child on the same day. Both the policeman that did this, and the armed robber that killed her are same, same daylight robbery and attack on innocent ppl.

Imagine going about ur daily hustle without disturbing anyone, and meeting an untimely death because of one bastard's greed and insolence against humanity. I'm so bitter at the circumstances surrounding both dastardly acts

  36. The largest room in the world is called ROOM of IMPROVEMENT. I noticed that the narrator could not pronounce MADUEKE as a Nigerian will normally do hence why must I get tongue lashed whenever I can't pronounce certain words as a Briton would?

I can keep learning day by day but not coerced to transform my "Naija" accent over night just because I must feel among and become accepted. #SayNoToSlaveMentality#

It's not enough to donate something for the man. Let's demand justice on behalf of himself and those children one trigger happy fool have rendered motherless.
It will be very hard for those children to forget the memory of their mum being shot before their eyes. Nigeria mata tire me abeg.
