Blog Visitors says ''Good afternoon Stella, I'm an ardent blog reader, saw the post on the mentorship, please I currently work, and have managed to save money for sometime now, I don't know what business to venture into, as I'm not the buying and selling kind of person. I have about, 600k and don't know the kind of business that will yield profit.

I would sincerely appreciate if I get a response as I've saved this money for a while now.
Blaze answers - since you are not a trade type person, invest in FGN bonds through your bank. It is the safest form of investment and will yield between 8 - 12% per annum. That guarantees you don't lose your savings and can keep growing it.

Avoid any get rich quick or pyramid schemes. Stocks are viable but not for me because I hate putting money in things that I can't control but they are good for most people.

If you know people that you can trust who trade, you can do partial investment in them and SIGN firm agreement on your expected returns.

The worst idea is leaving it in a bank account as you only make the bank rich.

Blog visitor says ''Top of the day to you sir
I would like to know how to set up and manage a creche /nursery school in Lagos. Its a business I want to venture into as soon as possible though I am a certified Montessori method Teacher ,I have not run any business before and failure is not an option.
Thank you

Blaze answers - this is not my area of expertise beyond having seen associates grow such businesses.. I think crèche business is about location and quality of service. Do you have a house that you can start with? Why aren't you willing to work for an existing crèche to learn the ropes as a first step?

Blog visitor says ''Thank you so much for this great privilege to ask Angel Blaze question through this platform.
Straight to the question, though a struggling student financially. Before I began my university education, I began to save money which I thought will take me somewhere but now the reverse is the case. Now my money is remaining 135,564,94 and I'm eager and willing to invest N100k before I will go broke and drop out of school.
Please how can I invest that money for profitable turn up without losing the capital?

Blaze answers - 100,000.00 is a significant sum that can go a long way in school. Where is your school? Have you identified needs of your fellow students that you can supply and invest in meeting? Don't consume all your money, you still have enough to start something fast and you should do so. Most students have needs and enterprising ones make a lot of money meeting those needs.

Habis cakes CEO says ''Thank you so much for this opportunity. I am the CEO habis cakes Abuja. And we recently moved to another part of Abuja. I want to greatly expand my business in the line of having an outdoor hangout where clients can come sit and relax, eat cupcakes, ice-cream and popcorn in a serene environment. I have been looking for means of getting grants because I do not want to be under the burden of a loan. I applied for the YouWin but it apparently went down with the last dispensation. I am not looking for a handout. I just need guidance on the right path to take in Getting a legal grant.
Thank you.

Blaze answers - do online research there are quite a few gender sensitive funds available for people like you. I think access bank and diamond bank also have women friendly loan schemes. Grants are typically for NGOs but I wish you well.

  10. The FGN bank bonds with tHat amount will yield very very little or nothing tangible,if she has a reliable buisness it is good to go into it ,I am on treasury bill with more than a million it is yielding very small amount ,I am thinking of a good buisness to do rather ,however your advices and words are great ,I learnt something yesterday .

  13. Kudos Angel blaze.

To the student, I wish I can add more but business ideas have all disappeared from my head but I know one thing for sure..if you just keep that money, you will lose it.
My advice is, don't keep it and dnt invest in long term stuff...maybe 3 months interval is good so I can acess it when the need arises.

    I wish u luck
